"Where is Madhu?" The lawyer asks seeing that Mukund was alone.

"She went back to USA. Her leave got over." Mukund informs him as he sat down.

"But Madhu was also supposed to be here for the will reading." Lawyer reminds him. "I told you that."

"Madhu was in mourning all these days. She didn't want to meet anyone. Then work called. She told me to inform her whatever is on the will." Mukund informs him.

"I can send her a copy of the will." Lawyer offers.

"Yeah, that is a good idea. So, what does the will say?" Mukund asks him.

The lawyer takes out the will and starts to read it out loud.

"Just give me the gist of it." Mukund tells him impatiently.

Lawyer nods and informs him as he kept the will aside. "Your mother's will states that you'll get the steel factory."

Mukund nods with a frown and asks. "What about the textile factory?"

Lawyer looks at Mukund uncomfortably and says. "According to your mother's will, the textile factory will go to Madhu."

"To Madhu?" Mukund asks softly in shock.
