"Her delicate button nose and lush lips set her apart in the class, making heads turn as if they'd never seen a girl like her before."

"WHAT THE HELL!" I fling my tablet across the bed in frustration.

"Why can't Y/N ever have PCOS?"

Maybe it's insecurity, but I've always loathed the girls in fanfictions.

They're perfect-idolized for features I've never had.

I'm a total femcel-or at least, that's what I've come to believe.

A final-year accounting major with zero friends. Not so beautiful life in beautiful western oregon?

But honestly Portland is one the most beautiful places you'll ever see.

Except if we don't talk about me...Tamrah Zarishi
Thin lips, a Greek nose, stubborn PCOS facial hair, and barely pushing five feet tall.
And turning 26 next year didn't sound exciting at all.

If that wasn't enough, there's the extra bit of tummy fat, rounding me out into a pear shape.

Sure, some of my old school friends gush over my fair skin, big almond eyes, and symmetrical face, saying I look like an ancient Greek sculpture.

But standing next to those flawless TikTok girls, I feel like a caricature. Then came the day that shattered my illusion of invisibility...

It was the first day of Freshers' Week, and the whole campus buzzed with an electric energy, as juniors nervously navigated the sea of faces, while seniors eagerly anticipated their fresh victims.

And me? I was rotting under a tree, headphones on, drowning out the noise with my own thoughts.

I'd convinced myself that writing a Wattpad story was a better use of my time than mingling with people who wouldn't notice me anyway.

But then she appeared.

A girl with all the Y/N features that plagued my daydreams and haunted my insecurities.

She didn't just walk up-she floated, as if the crowd parted for her like she was some kind of beautyqueen.

My headphones slipped off as I watched her approach, and for a moment, I was frozen, unsure whether to ignore her or brace myself for some sort of ridicule.

But she didn't speak.

Instead, she did something that shattered every expectation.

She grabbed my cheeks with a softness that contrasted the firmness of her grip.

My breath hitched, but before I could react, her lips pressed against mine in a kiss that stole more than just my breath-it stole my ability to think, to comprehend.

It wasn't a romantic, gentle kiss like in the stories.

It was abrupt, almost shocking, leaving me stunned and speechless.

The world around me faded, and all I could feel was the warmth of her lips on mine, the faint scent of her perfume lingering in the air.

And then, just as quickly, it was over. She pulled away, leaving me with wide eyes and a thundering heart.

The taste of her lips lingered, but my mind couldn't process what had just happened.

Panic set in.

I screamed, more out of shock than anything else, the sound ripping through the air and snapping me back to reality.

Eyes turned in our direction, whispers started to spread like wildfire, but I didn't care.

"What the hell was that?" I gasped, my voice shaky, filled with confusion and a hint of fear.

But she just smiled-a cryptic, knowing smile...
