Chapter III: The last day at the orphanage

The past month flew by quickly. It was one day after the other. And Simon was right when he said that Y/n would like the book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Y/n must have read that thing at least seven times.

But the beast that intrigued him the most was Niffler. It was ranked a triple X, which means Competent wizard should cope. A Niffler is a fluffy, long-snouted, spade-like front paws. It's pretty destructive and should not be kept in a house.

Y/n read some where that Newt Scamander - the author of Fantastic Beasts - had a brief case where he kept all his beasts. It's second year stuff. He asked Simon to do the enchantment so he could fit all of his stuff, but Simon hadn't learned it yet so he couldn't do it.

"Hey, we leave extremely early tomorrow, so make sure you say your good-byes before bed," Simon said as he pasted by.

"Got it!" Y/n yelled back.

Erin had asked why Y/n and Devon had to go to Simon's boarding school, and they simply replied with: "Because we were offered a spot and we couldn't say no."

That day Y/n got a letter in the mail from Hogwarts. It was a reply to him asking if he could bring a Niffler if he found one. Said he'd take care of it. They simply replied with: 'Find a place to put it then we'll say yes'.

Y/n also had to speed run the Stephen King book It, because he thought he wouldn't have time to read it at Hogwarts because he would have to be at classes and study since he knew nothing about magic. He knew the Lumos spell that Simon did the day he found out he was a wizard. 

Despite finding out he was a wizard, Devon was still the same. He's trip Y/n on his way to breakfast, drop all his books off his desk, call him names, and talk about how he'll get not girls. Not like Devon had any and not like he'd want one. Figured he wouldn't have time for one like he wouldn't have time for the book he just finished reading.

He was so excited for the next day he could hardly sleep. When he finally fell asleep it was already three in the morning, which meant he would only get four hours of sleep. Train didn't leave until eleven but King's Cross is a little too far away from the orphanage.

Y/n was walking through a village. He had no idea where he was or why he was there. But he kept on hearing the words: "Find him! Find him! Find him!" over and over and over again. He looked around then saw something. He saw a bright green flash come from one of the houses windows. He ran to see what it was.

When he entered the house he saw a man with glasses and Raven black hair lie dead on the steps leading upstairs. He then heard the word: "James" once. He walking into a room that was pretty much destroyed. He saw a red-haired woman one the ground. Y/n assumed that she was dead just like the man named James. He then heard the word: "Lily".

He turned when he heard a sound. When he looked to see what it was he saw a baby in its crib. He had a lightning bolt shaped scar on his forehead and Y/n immediately heard the words: "Harry Potter" over and over again then he saw a green flash...

"Y/n! Y/n, wake up! We have to go!" Simon said as Y/n opened his eyes. "Grab your trunk and let's go. Now!"

"Okay, okay, jeez, chill," Y/n replied as he got out of bed a got changed.

Y/n then made his way down the stairs with his trunk and saw that Simon was heading out the door. Y/n grabbed Fantastic Beasts, which he left on the dining table the previous night, took one last look around, and walked out and closed the front door behind him.

He walked over to Rose's car and went to the trunk of the car and put his trunk it it next to Devon and Simon's. He got in the car and checked his ticket. It said platform nine and three-quarters.

"Platform nine and three-quarters?" Y/n asked "That doesn't exist. I think the ticket's wrong."

"No it's right. I was the sam way when I first got it but Dumbledore was there with me to the barrier and I sure you, it's right," Simon said.

"Whatever."
