I woke to the smell of pancakes. It smelt of cinnamon apples and strawberries too.
I sat up in my bed, rubbing my eyes to wake myself up. At the different smells hitting my nose, I sprung up. I quickly rushed down the stairs and into the kitchen. My dad was making multiple things.
"Oh hey Y/n" He looked over his shoulder. "Would you like apple cinnamon, or strawberry?". I blinked at the question "Both" I replied. I sat down at the table, there was already an omelette waiting.
I cut it down the middle, it's gooey insides covering the rice it sat on. I put my hands together, a big smile on my face. I immediately started eating, almost melting at the first bite. "It's so good" I complimented, making my dad laugh.
I finished up the omelette quickly. Letting out a sigh one the plate was clean. My dad then sat down two perfect looking Japanese pancakes. They looked to had home made syrups on them. One smelt of apple cinnamon and the other smelt like strawberry. "Thanks dad!" He gave me a smile while taking up the empty plate.

Damn breakfast was so damn good. I finally look at my phone once I was settled back in my room. I seemed to have a few texts from Shinsou.

Shin!: hey u awake rn? saw a new shop it looks cool
Me: yeah i'm awake😭 sorry do u wanna check it out?
