Y/N found herself following Haku Shota like a lost puppy as he led her out of his study and through the stone house. The hallways felt different now, the walls seeming to close in on her as she fully realized the gravity of her decision to join his pack.

Haku Shota walked through the house with an air of confidence and authority, his footsteps echoing off the stone floors. They passed several closed doors, behind which Y/N could faintly hear the sounds of pack members moving about, the hum of conversation and the occasional burst of laughter.

They finally stopped outside a door at the end of a long hallway. Haku Shota opened it, gesturing for Y/N to go inside. "This will be your room," he said. "You're free to come and go as you please, but I'll also need you to attend pack meetings and follow my rules."

Y/N nodded, stepping into the room. It was sparse but clean, with a single bed pushed against one wall and a small window letting in a faint sliver of light. It wasn't the most welcoming room she had ever seen, but it was infinitely better than the cage she had been kept in before.

Haku Shota leaned against the doorframe, watching her take in the room with a satisfied expression. "You'll get settled in, but I'll come get you for dinner," he said. "The rest of the pack will want to fully meet the new addition."

Y/N nodded, her stomach clenching at the thought of meeting the rest of the pack. In her mind, she saw a room full of alphas and experienced wolves, all staring at her with critical eyes and judging her.

As if sensing her unease, Haku Shota chuckled softly. "Don't look so scared," he said. "They'll behave, I'll make sure of it. You're a member now, they better treat you with respect, or they'll have me to deal with."

As Haku Shota leaned against the doorframe, the early evening sunlight streaming through the window fell onto his face, illuminating his features. Y/N found herself staring, her eyes tracing the contours of his face.

His hair was a shock of blonde, cut in a way that looked both fashionably messy and painstakingly styled. His eyes, however, were what really stood out. They were a deep, vibrant shade of brown, almost black, like two pools of molten chocolate.

In the sunlight, those eyes seemed to glow, their intensity almost hypnotic. Y/N felt a strange, primal urge to look away, to break the eye contact, but she couldn't tear her gaze away.

Haku Shota looked amused, his smile widening as he caught her staring. "See something you like?" he teased, his voice low and knowing

Y/N blushed, her cheeks turning pink as she realized she'd been caught staring. She quickly looked away, feeling embarrassed and a bit flustered.

She could hear Haku Shota chuckle softly at her reaction, clearly amused by her fluster. "You're cute when you get all bashful like that," he said, his tone casual but with a hint of underlying intent.

Haku Shota pushed off from the doorframe, gesturing for Y/N to follow him. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves, and fell into step beside him as they made their way back down the hallway.

They passed by several more closed doors, the sounds of the pack members living their daily lives growing louder as they approached the main room where the pack gathered.

Finally, they reached the large, open room that served as the pack's communal area. Multiple pack members were lounging around, chatting and laughing, but the conversation immediately died down when they spotted Shota and Y/N entering.

Haku Shota stepped into the room, a hand resting possessively on Y/N's shoulder. "Hey, everyone," he called out, his voice carrying over the sudden silence. "I want you all to meet our newest pack member, Y/N."

The pack members looked at Y/N with various expressions: some curious, some wary, some even hostile. But two men, one brunet and one blond, stood out from the rest, their gazes sharp and intense as they took in her presence.

Y/N's heart lurched as her eyes fell on Keeho, the alpha who had led her to Haku Shota's pack. He looked just as daunting as before, his dark eyes studying her from across the room. Beside him was an omega man, a petite brunet who leaned into his side with a protective air.

Y/N felt a rush of conflicting emotions at the sight of them. On one hand, she was intimidated by Keeho's imposing presence. But on the other, the omega man, presumably his mate, caught her eye. He was small in stature, but there was a strength and determination in his expression that was surprising, given his obvious submissiveness to the alpha.

Keeho stepped forward, the omega - Theo - following him closely. "I'm Keeho as you may know," he said curtly, his eyes never leaving Y/N's face. "And this is my mate, Theo."

Theo smiled tentatively, his expression a contrast to Keeho's stern demeanor. "Don't mind him," he said, rolling his eyes slightly. "He's just being the stereotypical possessive alpha."

Y/N couldn't help but snort at Theo's comment, a brief, genuine laugh escaping her. She glanced at Keeho, who looked mildly offended, before shaking Theo's extended hand firmly.

"Nice to meet you both," she said, her voice just a bit shaky but determined.

Next to Keeho and Theo, another omega stepped forward, his size and stature making him look almost like a child in comparison. He had a youthful face, with a mop of messy dark hair and a small, almost cherubic smile.

"I'm Jongseob," he said, his voice soft but cheerful. "Don't mind Keeho, he's a big softie deep down."

Two more men walked up next to Jongseob, one who exuded alpha energy and the other who gave off the calm vibes of a beta. The alpha, Jiung, had a sharp jaw and a perpetual smirk on his face, while the beta, Intak, was broad-shouldered and had a friendly demeanor.

"I'm Jiung," the alpha said, his voice smooth and confident. "And this is Intak."

Intak gave Y/N a warm smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Welcome to the pack," he said, his voice friendly and welcoming. "We're glad to have you."

Keeho rolled his eyes at Intak and Jiung as they spoke, clearly not as welcoming as the beta and the alpha. But Theo elbowed him, whispering something under his breath that seemed to pacify the alpha somewhat.

Y/N found herself looking around at the pack members, her nerves somewhat eased by Intak and Jiung's friendly greetings. But she still sensed an underlying tension in the room, a mixture of curiosity and wariness among the pack members towards her as the newcomer.
