Erik had been excited for this upcoming fight since he heard about it. An old friend of all the Elite Wing had made it to the UFC, and not just that—he was the number one contender. This fight was more than just a match; it was a celebration of a friend's triumph and the perfect event to bring everyone together.

Erik, Sam, and Darius had the whole staff market this fight. They were determined to make it the event of the season at Max Lounge.

Sam dropped off flyers to the hotels he and Erik rented properties to. "Don't forget to put these up," he told the concierge with a grin. "Fight Night at Max Lounge is going to be legendary."

Evie dropped a flyer at Chubs' Sandwich Shop. "Hey Chubs, make sure you tell everyone about the fight night at Max Lounge!" she said.

Chubs grinned back. "Will do, Evie. How could I miss it? My favorite sandwich girl is promoting it!"

Cecelia posted the flyer at Ray's Cool Cafe and had Ray announce the Fight Night at Max Lounge to the guests during open mic night. "Folks, if you want a night to remember, head over to Max Lounge this Saturday. Trust me, you won't want to miss it," Ray declared, earning cheers and applause from the regulars.

Erik passed flyers out to Margot and Cynthia, urging them to share with their friends. "Why didn't you call me back?" Margot teased, fluttering her eyelashes.

"Just a lot's been going on," he shrugged. He didn't want to ruin the easy promoter relationship he'd built with Margot by sharing he had a girlfriend now.

Erik winked at her. "So, I'll see you there," he said, leaving her with a playful smile.

"Okay! We'll see you there Cupid!" she shouted back.

Back at the club Erik shifted his focus to the special drink menu he had come up with for the event. He was reviewing the drinks for the night with Jax and the bartending staff. "Alright, guys, these cocktails are going to be a hit. Make sure you nail every one of them," he said, testing a vibrant concoction Jax had just mixed. "Perfect, Jax. You nailed it." She beamed back with pride. "This 'Knock Out Punch' bowl is going to crush it!"

The event night finally arrived. Max Lounge was buzzing with energy, the air thick with anticipation. Erik had never done an all-you-can-eat special before, but tonight, the place was loaded with tacos and wings, and the crowd was loving it.

Cecelia, Evie, and all their friends had planned to come, making it an epic night. The Elite Wing gathered at Max Lounge, ready to cheer on their friend, the number one contender, Jimmie Rivera.

The drinks were flowing, people were eating and it was off to a great start. As the fight began, the lounge was electric. Jimmie dominated in the first round, landing punch after punch with precision and power.

"Did you see that uppercut?" Sam shouted, his eyes glued to the screen.

The crowd at the bar roared with excitement, drinks sloshing in their hands as they cheered.

Jimmie dominated the second round as well, his opponent struggling to keep up with his relentless assault. Evie was screaming at the TV like a crazed fan, jumping up and down in her excitement. "Get him, Jimmie! Knock him out!"

Round three began, and the crowd's energy was at its peak. Suddenly, the broadcast on another TV cut, and gasps and murmurs filled the bar.

Erik glanced at the screen, his stomach dropping as he read the headline: "Level 8.5 Earthquake Strikes Los Angeles."

The reporter's voice continued to describe the situation: "City-Wide Blackout in Effect. Ballroom Massacre on Lay Lines a Result of Natural Disaster." The screen flashed with images of devastation: a luxurious ballroom reduced to rubble, crime scene tape blocking off the carnage. White outlines of bodies were everywhere, and the chaotic aftermath of the earthquake that had ravaged the city was evident. The news anchor's voice trembled as she described the horrific events.

The realization hit the Elites like a punch to the gut. This was no ordinary earthquake—this was the return of the Arch Dukes. The severity of the disaster confirmed what Erik had feared most: the Arch Dukes hadn't just been resurrected—they had come back with their full, terrifying power. The magnitude of the earthquake and the ensuing destruction made it clear: Azazel's war on Heaven was being brought to the mortal realm.

Erik's heart pounded as he turned to his friends, his voice grim. "Guys, this isn't just about resurrection. This is about the start of a war. The Arch Dukes aren't just back—they're bringing hell with them, and it's only a matter of time before the Archangels answer."

The room around them buzzed with continued excitement for the fight, but for the Elite Wing, the stakes had just been raised to an unimaginable level. A new battle was looming on the horizon—one that would test their strength, their unity, and possibly determine the fate of Heaven and Earth.
