Ohm's curiosity flared, and the spark of excitement returned. This was his chance to prove himself, to show that he wasn't just some wide-eyed rookie who didn't belong. He would crack this case, he would uncover the truth behind those arsons, and maybe, just maybe, he would earn Nanon's respect in the process.
'Maybe his heart as well'

As he leaned in to study the file more closely, the precinct's intercom crackled to life, a voice cutting through the air.
"All officers, report to the briefing room immediately. "

Ohm's heart skipped a beat. This was
it-his first real test.

Ohm's heart skipped a beat. This was it-his first real test. He grabbed the file and hurried towards the briefing room, his thoughts racing as fast as his feet.

And as the door to the briefing room loomed ahead, Ohm couldn't shake the feeling that the "bumpy ride" Officer Force had warned him about to beginning.

The briefing room was already buzzing with activity when Ohm arrived, officers huddled around the central table, discussing the latest developments . Detective Nanon stood at the front, his presence dominating the room as usual, his expression as unreadable as ever.

The air was thick with tension, a palpable sense of urgency that had everyone on edge.
Ohm slipped into the nearest empty seat next to Chimon, trying to blend into the background as much as possible, though he could feel Nanon's eyes briefly flicker toward him. It was like being under a microscope, every move scrutinized, every breath measured.

"As you're all aware," Nanon began, his voice cutting through the murmurs, "We've had another incident last night. A warehouse on the west side was torched, the fourth in a single month. The pattern is not still clearer, and we're still no closer to catching the perpetrator as well."

He paused, his gaze sweeping over the room, like daring anyone to challenge him. As always No one did.

"We need to act fast. The media's starting to pick up on this, and if we don't get ahead of it, we'll be dealing with more than just arsonists. Officer Wachirawit !!," he barked, turning his attention to Chimon,
"I need you and Officer Pawat to analyze the footage from the latest scene. Look for anything-*anything*-that we've missed."

Chimon nodded, glancing at Ohm with a look that was both encouraging and slightly wary. Ohm felt a surge of adrenaline. This was his chance, an opportunity to prove himself * to Chief Nanon*, to show that he could handle the pressure. He straightened in his seat, trying to project confidence even as doubt haunted at the edges of his resolve.

"And you," Nanon's voice snapped Ohm out of his thoughts. "Don't let your enthusiasm get the better of you, Rookie. We need results, not guesswork. Got it??"

Ohm swallowed hard, nodding firmly. "Yes, sir," he replied, his voice steady despite the unknown butterflies in his stomach.

"Good. Dismissed."

The room broke into a flurry of movement, officers dispersing to their assigned tasks. Ohm followed Chimon to the small room where the footage was stored, trying to push down the anxiety that threatened to overwhelm him. This was just another case, Right ? * he told himself to be reassured.
