word count: 599First name: Katsuki, Last name: Bakugo. To his fellow classmates and outsiders, or as he'd say, "some extras" he has it all. Bakugo has always had the confidence that everyone else tries to portray, the looks that attract the prettiest of girls, and most of all, his exceptional quirk of explosions that allows his future of becoming a pro hero. From an outside perspective, he's got it easy, or in other words all laid out for him. At least that's what he wishes he thought of himself.
It was a gloomy and rainy Monday morning, the worst day of the week, and the weather was not very enjoyable either. Bakugo left the Class 1-A campus dorms around 8:25a.m. just like he did almost every morning since first year. As Bakugo stepped out of the dorm building he noticed the state of weather.
"Great, rain." the teen mumbled under his breath in a tone of sarcasm.
He then started walking toward the U.A. school building while droplets of rain landed on his uniform. Once Bakugo arrived in class he was welcomed by his fellow classmates, who liked to think they're his friends but really just extras he surpasses.
"Morning, Bakubro!" Eijiro Kirishima, one of Bakugo's closer classmates, exclaimed.
"Yeah, yeah shitty hair" replied the angsty teen as he sat at his desk.
Bakugo keeps to himself most days in class and minds his business. He's never been into that whole social climbing, making lifelong friends thing he's there for one reason and one reason only: to be the number one ranked hero in Japan.
The school day proceeded as usual for Bakugo, with studying in class for upcoming hero exams to watching his teacher sleep on the ground. The boy sighed as he shifted his gaze to the window.
Gosh, it's still raining huh? he thought.
Bakugo has always despised the rain as it weakens his quirk and makes him feel powerless. Additionally, it is associated with gloom and sadness, emotions he prefers not to display.
It was finally the end of the school day after a long boring 8 hours with no hero training. Bakugo was picking up his bag and about to head out the classroom door when a couple of his classmates stopped him.
"Yo Bakugo, wanna get some ramen with me, Kiri, Mina, and Sero before we head back to the dorms?" asked a classmate Denki Kaminari.
"No dunceface, I'd rather just sulk in my room for the rest of the evening than hang out with you idiots." replied the boy in annoyance.
"That's okay Bakubabe we'll see you back at the dorms then." said the pink-toned bubbly girl.
The group of friends then walked out of the room as Bakugo headed out a couple minutes later. Bakugo was walking the path on his way to the dorm building. It was still raining like it had been since that morning which irradiated the hot-headed teen. Suddenly as he's walking lost in thought a shoulder roughly brushes against his taking him out of the daze.
"Oi! Watch where you're going extra!" Bakugo says irritable.
"That's my fault, I'm very sorry! It wasn't on purpose I swear!" replies the freckled boy.
Bakugo turns around facing the disturbance as the boy bows to him apologetically.
"Whatever, just watch it next time got it?" he says in annoyance.
The green haired freckled boy then lifts his head and looks directly at Bakugo. They both freeze like deer in headlights while making eye contact as the sun starts to peak out in the sky.
