Katsuki woke up to the sound of his alarm blaring, the familiar noise jolting him into consciousness. He groaned, rubbing the sleep from his eyes before swinging his legs over the side of his bed. The morning routine was second nature to him by now: a quick shower, brushing his teeth, and donning his UA High School uniform. He glanced at the clock, but nothing he had just enough time to grab a quick breakfast before heading out.

As he walked to school, his mind wandered to the day's upcoming classes and training sessions. He was always eager to push himself further, to become the number one hero. However, something else nagged at the back of his mind-something, or rather someone, who had been a constant presence in his life: Izuku Midoriya, or as he begrudgingly called him, Deku.

Bakugo's thoughts were interrupted as he approached the support course workshop. A group of his classmates had gathered there, chatting animatedly. Among them, he spotted Deku, the new student who had recently transferred to the Support Course. Bakugo's eyes narrowed as he watched Deku interact with the others, his usual scowl deepening.

Deku was surrounded by their classmates, who seemed eager to get to know him. Bakugo couldn't help but feel a pang of irritation. He had known Deku for years, ever since they were kids. Their relationship had always been complicated, marked by rivalry and tension. But recently, Bakugo had started to notice something different he couldn't quite place, a slow-burning connection that went beyond mere competition.

"Hey, Deku!" Bakugo called out, his voice laced with irritation and a hint of something else—jealousy. The group turned to look at him, and Deku's eyes widened in surprise.

"K-Kacchan," Deku stammered, stepping away from the group slightly. "Good morning."

One of their classmates, Mina Ashido, chimed in, "Oh, Bakugo! We were just getting to know Deku. He's really interesting!"

Bakugo's scowl deepened as he looked at Deku. "What the hell are you doing here, Deku? Shouldn't you be working on items?"

Kirishima, always the peacemaker, stepped in. "Come on, Bakugo. We were just talking. No harm in that right?"

Bakugo's eyes flashed with a fix of anger and envy. "Tch. Just stay on task Deku."

"Yes, Kacchan, I will." Deku fixated his eyes back on the other students of UA who were previously in conversation with him.

As he continued his way to class, Bakugo's mind was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. He couldn't deny the spark that had ignited between them the past few days, but he also couldn't ignore the animosity. The tension between them both was palpable, and it was clear that navigating this new dynamic would be anything but easy. Bakugo couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy seeing Deku so easily accepted by the others, a feeling he quickly buried under his usual bravado.

Katsuki sat at his desk in Class 1-A, his sharp eyes focused intently on the lesson. Despite his explosive personality, he was a diligent student, always striving to be the best. The classroom buzzed with the usual chatter, but Katsuki's thoughts took over. His eyes flicked occasionally to the clock, counting down the minutes until he could escape this mundane setting.

His posture was tense, muscles coiled like a spring ready to snap. Despite his outward appearance of disinterest, Bakugo's mind was always racing, analyzing everything around him with a sharp, tactical eye. His hands, scarred from countless battles, tapped impatiently on the desk, the rhythmic drumming a stark contrast to the chaos that brewed inside him.

Across the hall, in the support course classroom, Izuku was diligently working on his latest project. Bakugo's thoughts drifted to Deku, imagining him surrounded by tools and blueprints, his face lit up with that characteristic determination. It was strange seeing Deku in the support course, but Bakugo knew that Deku's passion for being a hero extended beyond just fighting. He wanted to help in any way he could, and that meant designing and creating gear that could save lives.
