word count: 863Katsuki is trying to focus on his breathing but it's just making him more anxious. There is sweat coming through the black tank top that's connected to his body. The sweat stored up in his palms makes his quirk uncontrollable with random sparked explosions forming in his hands. He doesn't know what to do or how to stop these emotions that are taking over him. The only thing that could calm him down was Izuku's presence or at least knowing he was okay, but he couldn't hurt his pride by calling him up. He couldn't stand the feeling in his chest or the ache it caused him.
The green door that led to Katsuki's room started to have shadows behind it as it creaked open. Familiar faces soon filled up those shadows with worried looks.
"Yo Bakugo! Is everything okay man, what's going on? We all heard you scream, some did from the whole other floor." Kirishima asked in concern and worry for his friend.
"Yeah, and also who or what is Izuku?" asked Sero.
All these questions and multiple of his classmates looking at him in pity weren't comforting him, it was making him feel less than. To Bakugo he feels like a burden, someone not deserving of what he's been given, who just causes problems to those who come in contact with him. Bakugo doesn't hate anyone in the world more than himself. Someone on the outside would probably say "Katsuki Bakugo, insecure? That's a joke, he has it all doesn't he?" In reality, he's still waiting for that something all, whatever it is.
"He-...never mind it's no one just a random loser in my dream. Now all of you extras go before I blow up your sorry asses." Bakugo responded in irritation and pride.
"Are you sure you don't want us to inform Mr. Aizawa?" asked Yaoyorozu.
"No, and drop the concerned looks a future pro isn't one to be looked down on. Now I'm going back to bed and so should all of you." Katsuki then turned his head back into his pillow as the door closed and the night was quiet again.
Bakugo lay in bed, staring at the ceiling as the clock ticked past 2 am. His classmates had just finished checking up on him, their concern evident in their eyes, but it was Izuku Midoriya who occupied his thoughts. The memories of their shared past, the rivalry, and the battles they fought together played like a film in his mind. Despite the anger and frustration he often felt towards Izuku, there was an undeniable bond that tied them together. As the night grew quieter, Bakugo couldn't shake the feeling of grudging admiration he held for his persistent childhood friend.
After a while, Bakugo turns over in bed, trying to push thoughts of Izuku out of his mind. However, the memories keep coming back, recalling moments when Izuku showed his bravery and determination. Despite the rivalry and fights, Bakugo can't help but feel a deep connection with him. Finally, with a heavy sigh, he closes his eyes, knowing that dawn will bring a new day of challenges and opportunities to prove his own worth and surpass Izuku once again.

As the first light of dawn began to filter through the curtains, Bakugo felt a sense of resolve wash over him. He knew that the day ahead would be filled with training and the relentless pursuit of becoming the best. Rising from his bed, he prepared himself mentally and physically, determined to face whatever challenges came his way. The thoughts of Izuku lingered, but instead of frustration, they now fueled his drive to push harder and strive for greatness. With a newfound clarity, Katsuki stepped out of his room, ready to take on the world and prove his strength.Bakugo joined his classmates for their morning training session, his usual fierce determination evident in every move. The intensity of his training caught the attention of everyone around him. Meanwhile, Izuku, now a part of the Support Course, was busy in the workshop, tinkering with new gadgets and support items for his peers.
During a break, Bakugo walked by the workshop and saw Izuku engrossed in his work. He couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and irritation.
"Deku, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be out there trying to be a hero?" Bakugo barked.
Izuku looked up, surprised but composed.
"Kacchan, I though we just discussed this yesterday. I realized that, my strength lies in helping others become better heroes. I can create tools and support items that will make everyone stronger, including you."
One of the classmates from the Support Course, Mei Hatsume, chimed in, "Yeah, Midoriya's been a great addition here. He's got some amazing ideas that can really make a difference."
Bakugo scoffed but couldn't deny the logic. "Just don't get in my way, Deku. I'll become the number one here with or without your gadgets."
As Bakugo walked away, he couldn't shake the feeling that, despite their different paths, their destinies were still intertwined. This new dynamic fueled his determination to push himself harder and prove his worth.
