almost died twice this past week, literally not even joking but uhh heres part 4

"I don't know, please shut up," Natalia said to Jeremy because he kept asking so many dumb questions. "Isn't that Chase over there?" Nat said as me and Jermey looked over to see him talking to Yonna. They looked like they were flirting.

"He's supposed to be with us," I whispered. "Y/n, do you perhaps remember someone by the name of Mike?" Jeremy said. I looked up at him and was about to start arguing until I heard someone call Chase and I's name.

"Ugh," I said getting up from my seat and slowly walking to one of the camp counselors thinking I was about to be in even more trouble. I looked up at Chase to see that he wasn't even looking my way and so I looked back down and at my shoes.

"You two are leaving, let's go," He said. "What, did we get kicked out or something?" Chase asked. The counselor sounded frustrated and told us it was because something happened back at home.

chase and i gave each other a worried look.

i was finally going home but at what cost?

I saw my Mom's car pulling up and I was so glad it wasn't Sam. I was so scared to talk to any of the Carters. (their last name i think??)

Chase and I both got in the back seat of the car in silence.

"Mom is everything okay? Is someone hurt?" I asked. "Yeah, is everything alright?" Chase added. "Everything is fine, I just needed an excuse to pick you guys up because you weren't having fun," My Mom said.

Chase furrowed his eyebrows and looked over at me. "Are you trying to get Mike upset?" He whispered. "It already happened, Chase! Shut up!" I whisper-yelled to him. I looked up to see my Mom looking at us through the rear view mirror.

"Whats that about?" She asked and we just kept quiet. "Anyway, I have to go to walmart so you two, come on," She said, getting out of the car. I hadn't realized that we were already back in town.

My Mom send Chase and I to get a few snacks even though I tried to tell her I didn't want to go with him.. although I obviously did. The only thing I wanted was Chase but i have a boyfriend.. his brother.

After a long long silence of me and Chase walking around, I had to break it.

"Chase, Im sorry," I told him. "Y/n, dont act like it was your fault. It's mine." He told me. "But I have been liking you for a while now and obviously couldn't control my feelings," I said and we both stopped walking.

"When Im around you, I just feel so happy, Y/n. I get how you feel... if it's the same way im feeling I guess?" He said laughing. 

"Come on, let's go get legos," I said, laughing and dragging Chase over to the toys. We found hats and took a picture.

Me and Chase were having so much fun running around and getting weird looks from people because a few teenagers were being immature in Walmart.

In that moment I also forgot one important thing.

I have a boyfriend.

"Y/n and Chase?" I heard a familiar voice say but I just thought it was a fan. I turn around to see Mike and a few of his friends.

my heart dropped.

so did my smile.

He came and gave me hug and kiss. I didn't say anything. "What are you guys doing home?" Mike asked and once again we didn't say anything.

"Hello..?" He said and as Chase was about to start speaking, my Mom came up to us.

"Chase and Y/n, lets leave," She spoke. "Oh hi, Mike, I haven't seen you in forever," She said.

"Mom can we go now?" I asked impatiently.

"See you tonight, Y/n," Mike smiled. I looked over at him, confused.

"Why are you guys being so awkward?"  Mike asked. "Just a little sick from camp food and all that," I said, making up a lie.

"You guys, come on! We have to go so Sam and I can start cooking dinner," My mom yelled at us.

I waved goodbye to Mike. He clearly didn't know what happened back at camp and I was honestly thankful for it
