It had been a few weeks since everything happened. Chase and I were happily dating and I was so happy with him. But summer was almost over and I would be going home soon so Chase and I would be long distance. It was kind of scary to think about.

After texting Chase basically all night, I shut off my phone and got up from Lexi's vanity chair. I would be in Chases room but it was late at night and our parents would never. Nothing would even happen so I have zero clue what their problem is.

"You were texting Chase forever," She told me. "I know. He is literally my everything and I don't know what im going to do without him," I said, flopping onto her bed, trying to gross her out, knowing she would have a reaction.

"Ew.." She said pretending to throw up. "You think Mike's doing okay? I kind of just dropped him," I asked Lex. "He was talking to me about how he still wanted to be friends with you but wasn't upset about you and Chase anymore," She said, shrugging.

"Oh okay.. Im gonna go grab some water real quick," I told Lex, leaving her room. I really felt bad for Mike. As I was about to make it down the stairs, someone grabbed my arm, and tried to scare me but I didn't have much of a reaction.

I looked up and of course it was Chase. "You are insane!" I whisper-yelled to him. "Come here," He told me, dragging me into his room. "Shouldn't you be asleep?" I said, crossing my arms. "It's 9:30 pm," He said, making a face. "Anyway, what do you want?" I said, laughing and rolling my eyes.

"The bounce house is still up from when everyone came over for Lexi's party and I have 50 dollars with a dream," He told me. I sighed. "And whats the dream, Chase?" I asked him, un interested.

"To go on a date with my girlfriend! Burgers, late night walk, and an outside hang out sounds perfect to me," He said, smiling. I was super tired from everything I did today.. which was literally nothing but I agreed.

  As we were walking back, I made Chase put on our playlist that we made a few days ago. "Kiss me" by Sixpence None The Richer started playing. We both smiled and held each other's hands while walking on the sidewalk.

    I looked down at my phone to see a text from Lexi

    I laughed and showed Chase. "Damn, we better hurry," He said, laughing.

      Chase then got a notification that came through his airpod's that we were sharing.

   'New text message from, Yonna'

 
     I stopped walking and Chase had a worried look on his face. "Give me your phone. Right now and I mean it," I told him. He was reaching for it but was taking too long so I snatched it from him. The text said "I miss you, Chase!!"

   "Come on dude. Theres no fucking way," I said, breaking down into tears again. "I trusted you!" I yelled at him. I didn't even care that we were in a quiet neighborhood and it was late at night.

   "Y/n, come on! You don't understand!" He yelled to me as I started to walk away. He tried to get me to stop but I pushed him back. "Literally just get away from me," I yelled at him.
