chloe's pov:

red and i have been laying on her bed for awhile now. "princess, i just got a text from my mom. she's been catching up with your mom and wants us to come to the courtyard to say hello..." red seemed quite nervous but i could tell she was trying to hide it. "okay. do you want to walk down together then?" i asked making sure to take her hand and give it a reassuring kiss. "if you don't mind, i want her to see us together before making and quick judgments." "of course baby. i'm here for you whenever you need. come on, let's go and see her."

red and i walked out of our room to see a very busy school building with kings, queens, princes and princesses around every corner. by now the fuss about red and i had died down however the parents and family of our class mates definitely had their opinions. we got a few stares as we walked hand in hand but we didn't pay much attention to it because red was about to tell her mom about us and that was more important than some royal person making a fuss. we made it down the stairs to the main lobby and i felt reds grip on my hand get tighter. "it's okay red. it's going to be fine. my parents were fine with it and your mom will be too." red simply smiled and took a few steps forward. i followed and we walked around the corner into the courtyard. almost instantly we saw reds mother in her red, pink and white gown.

we walked over to her and every step we took i felt reds grip on my hand get slightly tighter. just before we got to reds mom i whispered into reds ear. "i love you." her cheeks turned a light shade of pink and i felt her grip on my hand loosen very slightly. "hey mom" red said quietly and without her usual magnetism. "hello dear, is everything okay? you're cheeks are pink and you sound funny. are you feeling okay?"

reds pov:

i couldn't help but smile at my mothers words. i'm still getting used to having a mom that actually cares about me. "yeah i'm okay. i'm really good actually. but i need to talk to you about something so can you sit please?" i asked motioning to the chairs positioned in orderly rows through out the yard. she moved one of the chairs out of position to be opposite chloe and i.

"what's up red?" she asked looking between the two of us. "are you about to tell me you're pregnant?" she added. i stuttered due to her forwardness and the fact that i wasn't even with a guy. "what? no definitely not." i finally got out. "what is it red? you're worrying me." my mom asked sounding more genuine than i was used too. "we'll you see since coming here i've figured out a lot about myself and i've met a lot of very cool people but there is one person in particular that i've actually started dating..." i said as calmly as i possibly could yet my voice was definitely shaky. my mom didn't say anything for a second but eventually she spoke up. "shit." oh no. that's not good i knew she wouldn't be okay with this. i can't believe i had the chance to have a normal relationship with my mom and in just a few months i've screwed it up again. i sat there speechless before my mom spoke again. "you really couldn't have waited a few more weeks?" "what? what are you saying mom, what do you mean wait?" i asked now feeling more confused than anything else. "i should've knows putting you two in a dorm together would make things progress faster. now i owe king charming £10." my mom said with a slight laugh. "wait wait wait, did you and my dad make a bet on how long it would take for us to get together?" chloe finally said. "we did indeed. and now he is another £10 richer."  my mom said jokingly. "wait wait so you're not mad? i really thought you might be upset or something." i said in utter disbelief. "what? red of course i'm not upset. you and chloe have been so close. ever since you first met as little kids. you've always had heart eyes for each other. now not to spoil anything here but i think you two would make great queens of auridon one day. if you know what i mean." she said nodding to the small golden heart chapped mirror attached to her hip. "how about we have dinner together tonight, like the old times, with the charmings. is chad here or is he at collage?" my mom asked directing the question at my girlfriend. "oh right i'm yeah he couldn't make it today." chloe said  still looking slightly shocked. "ah well that is a shame however i would still love to see your mother and farther." "of course mrs hearts." chloe replied with a small smile. god i love her smile so much. so elegant and well...charming.

just a short chapter today cuz it's really late and i've had a long day. i know what i'm going to do for the next chapter so i'll try to update again tomorrow but the next week is going to be very busy for me and i might not get the chance to update this weekend so just bare with me. i hope you enjoyed!
