Chapter 6 - I Promised You, Mama

"Do you think, I love someone for money"
"OK then, they must be very powerful"
"What is this money, power, I don't love someone for money, for power, for fame, I just love her for her"
"Uhmm, she must be beautiful"
Sam is just pushing her

"She has same face with you"
Sam looked at Becky, this time her eyebrows  touched eachother, Becky continue

"Yeah, I love your sister"

Sam just blink her eyes, it hard to listen but just she didn't show any emotion. But she want to know something

"Are you two couple. Did she tell you, that she love you"
" I don't know"
"What?"
"I don't know, maybe she scared to express her feeling because of you"

Its so unexpected

"Ahh Rebecca, I have some emergency work"

Becky try to say something but Sam is fast, she already reached for the door.

Sam is about to faint, with Becky's words. Becky love her twin. Did Freen love her too.

She went to the mansion, its last Saturday of the month. She always goes to mansion as agreement, with her father, they would have family dinner every last Saturday of the month.

As she reached there, Freen and their father finished everything. They were sitting around the dining table having dinner quitely. From time to time, Sam looked at her twin. Freen look somewhat gloomy.

After dinner she asked Freen to have a talk with her, they were sitting on the sofa in the living room.

Sam clear her throat.
"Ummm next week, I will leave the country for 2 day, could you handle the office."

Freen looked at her sister, nod her head
"Yes Sam, I can do that. Don't worry"
"Uhmm it's a big deal, we need to open a branch in Philippines"

Sam is going to Philippines next week, as she want to open a branch of her company there. The only things flourishing in her life is running the company.

"OK, I wish you good luck"
Freen smile weakly.
"Uhmm"

There is awkwardness wind blowing in the room. After lots of thinking, Sam asked

"Uhmm, how is Rebecca, did you meet her lately"
"No Sam, I don't"

Freen said looking at her sister. Sam can sense Freen is hiding something, but she doesn't pressure.

"Can I asked you a personal question?"
Freen looked at her sister, they never talk this deep.

"Yeah" She nod her head
"Do you like Rebecca?"

Freen looked at her sister, Sam's eyes asked so many questions. Freen couldn't form a word.

"You don't have to answer if you don't want"
"I like her as a friend, we are friends"
"Uhmm good to know"
"Why you asked Sam?"
"Nothing just, want to know your thought. Ok then, I will be heading out, tell dad, I left. And I am sorry for last time shouted at you"
"I am sorry too. OK drive safe"

Sam just nod her head.

Sam head is full of her sister and Rebecca
She always remembered her mother words

"No matter what the situation is, you two look after eachother, stand for eachother, love eachother, Sam, Freen just promised to Mama. "
"I promised you, Mama"
Sam said
"I promised you too, Mama"
Freen said smiling,

Yes, Sam schold Freen from time to time, thats not because of out of love, but she want her sister to learn things, she thought Freen is too soft, thinking people will take advantage of her. Deep down she love her sister.
