y/n was jumping around waving her hands in front of the blue haired male who perched himself on the tree to get away from her once he had deemed nezuko wouldnt bite a human after she jumped to protect tanjiro.

"i promise i wont play dirty! please just one round!" her focus quickly shifted to his sword and she tilted her head, her ears flopping slightly to the side. 

"are you a ninja? whats with the getup?"

"Giyuu."

"huh?"

"call me Giyuu. I am a demon slayer" he looked down at her, putting his katana back into its scabbard. tanjiro held nezuko up by her waist and quickly walked over to y/n. nezuko leaned onto y/n's back and sighed.

"what are you going to do now?" Giyuu emotionlessly turned to tanjiro and pointed at nezuko.

"I'll find a way to turn her back, y/n?" tanjiro looked over to y/n who smirked lazily and nodded her head while Giyuu continued to observe the two.

"I will recommend you to a sensei who will be willing to teach you how to wield a sword so you can protect your family in the future"

tanjiro thankfully nodded his head while looking over to y/n. he owed her a lot and he would train so that one day, even if it took his whole life he'd be able to repay her.

Giyuu nodded to the two and jumped out of his tree and disappeared before the two could continue to question him.

"Damn i missed my chance at a fight. next time emu, next time.."

"his name is Giyuu, y/n.." 

"Right. next time giyuu, next time"

tanjiro snickered as the two made their way back to the house on the top of the snowy hill where they were greeted by a panicked kie and tanjiro's siblings who each ran to check on the sleeping nezuko.

"is she alright?"

they stood in silence for a moment before tanjiro broke the news and rather awkwardly.

"Nezuko has been turned into a demon and im going to learn to wield a sword to protect you all and turn nezuko human again..." he waited for his families response.

the little ones immediately started cheering admittedly not understanding what was happening but the idea of tanjiro wielding a sword exiting them. y/n snickered along with them.

Kie sighed and nodded her head before cupping tanjiros face and calling him responsible and pampering him. She turned to y/n and broke down in tears thanking her over and over again.

"its no problem, did u see how he ran away before even finishing our fight? what a coward" y/n smirked and boasted causing the woman to smirk slightly before giggling as the twins imitated the fight.

"she was like pow then bam!"

"yeah and the scary red eyed man was smiling but when she broke his weird arm he looked scared" the two chuckled darkly bringing their hands up as if they had bunny ears and jumping around, almost knocking down some plants.
