Tanjiro had left early in the morning with Nezuko to find his new sensei. Y/n had decided to stay back, she still hadn't finished exploring and wanted to find a sparing partner that she could fight.

"I'm going out mrs Kamado, don't wait up! I might not come back!"
Y/n hopped out the door and took off down the mountain before Tanjiro's mother could even answer or tell her she was going down the wrong side of the mountain.

Y/n ran and ran before she tiredly sat back on a log as the sun began to set. She was in the middle of nowhere.

"I swear it didn't take this long to get to the village last time.." she spoke to herself not expecting a reply which came from behind her.

"I would expect so..." a demon covered in spikes and scales moved out from the bushes seemingly having just escaped a chase.

"That man asked to bring you to him! Perhaps I'll get his blood as a reward!!" It crawled towards her.

Y/n huffed and then smirked.
"Yea?"
She raised her fists ready to fight the demon but before she could even throw a punch the demon whose neck had been sliced off.

Y/n blankly turned her stare to the cute girl with pink and green hair whose face lit up bright red from the attention.

She huffed and turned to the girl.
"Hey pinkie! Fight me!!" Y/n bounced

'A-are those bunny ears! So cuteee!!!' Mitsuri was practically worshipping the ground Y/n stepped on.

"Hey!!"

"H-huh, fight you!" She squeaked before finally nodding her head as Y/n asked her for the 3rd time.

Y/ns eyes sparkled.
"Really!"

The girl smiled happily and nodded her head.
Y/n pulled her hair back.

"Alright then! No takebacksies!!"

Her hair pulled back to reveal the base of her bunny ears and her rabbit feet throbbing on the floor showing her excitement.

"On the count of three"

Mitsuri nodded her head again happily taking in Y/n's form.

"Three, two, one!!"

Mitsuri took off to attack Y/n who barely dodged, immediately picking up the noise of her blade cutting through the air and again narrowly avoiding another slice.

Y/n jumped up a tree and through the corner of her eye saw mitsuri twirl and release a pink aura from her flexible sword.

She dodged and jumped down at mitsuri quickly. Managing to land a hit on her through her rabbit feet.

Mitsuri flew back slightly and squealed.
"Wh- what's your name!"

"I'm Y/n! The rabbit hero!" Y/n proudly put her hands on her waist as mitsuri stayed still unwilling to continue the fight as she was still tired from her previous missions.

Mitsuri blinked away her sleepiness as Y/n rambled before turning bright red when Y/n caught her zoned out.

"You should go to sleep." Y/n huffed annoyed they wouldn't fight at full capability.
