ARYAN'S POV :

Thank fuck that meeting ended. If I had to listen to people speak on the same topic for another minute I would have walked out.

I grab Aashna's hand and kiss her knuckles.

God, I love this woman.

The most beautiful woman ever.

As the room emptied behind us, I pulled her towards me and kissed her till she couldn't breathe.

I love the way she tastes, the way she smiles, the way she breathes. I love her.

"Want to grab something to eat?" I ask, while I continue to kiss her cheek as she turns a huge shade of red.

Adorable.

Aashna nods at my comment and I pull her out the door towards the lift.

"Waise toh main zyada office hours mein bahar nahi jaata, but with you? I never want to come back here."

(usually, i never go out of the office during working hours)

"If you don't work, how will you take me on these dates, Mr Sharma?" She asks cheekily.

"That's why I do work, Mrs Sharma. To provide you with everything that you'll ever want." I kiss her nose.

She giggles at my words as it sends a huge fiery feeling inside me.

"My favourite fucking sound" I mutter under my breath.

EVENING :

AASHNA'S POV :

I never imagined that I could be so in love.

Never.

But Aryan made me feel like I could be loved and be in love.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was working on my laptop as Aryan walked out of the washroom after taking a shower.

I glanced up to look at him and saw him without a t-shirt.

I couldn't help but get distracted  at that.

I really do have the hottest man in the world. 

"Like what you see, chaand?" He asked cheekily as I glared at him.

"Shut up and put on some clothes."

"But I like having you get distracted by me, chaand." He grinned.

"Shut up."

"Make me."

"Unbelievable."

"Damn right, chaand.''

I huffed and continued working on my laptop when I felt him come sit near me on the bed.

Before I could ask him what he was doing, he grabbed my neck and kissed me.

It wasn't a hot, passionate kiss like the ones we usually shared.

It was soft, it was longing, it felt safe.

It felt like home.

I pulled away after a few minutes to catch my breath.

"I have to work." I said in a husky voice clearly bothered by the kiss.

"You can do that later too, pay attention to me."

"Let me finish this please, I can't keep my work pending." I said.

"But you can keep me pending, chaand?"

"Shut up."

"Make me."

"Ugh." I groaned. "Are you 10 years old?"

He just grinned in answer and sat opposite to me and continued staring at me.

After feeling his gaze dig holes in me for 10 minutes I finally gave in.

"Kya chahiye?"

(what do you want?)

"Kuch nahi."

(nothing)

"Ghur kyu rahe ho?"

(why are you staring at me?)

"Bas aise hi. Itni sundar jo ho."

(no reason. you're so pretty)

I glare at him and continue working.

After what felt like an eternity, but was only an hour and half I was done with the work.

I was so engrossed in the work that I didn't notice the fact that Aryan sat with me entirely for an hour without moving or even checking his phone.

He just stared at me the entire time.

I love this man.

What did I ever do to deserve him?

"Done, chaand?" He asked as he saw me put the laptop down.

Instead of answering him, I asked him a question.

"Did you stare at me the entire time without moving?"

He nodded meekly as he got up to get me some water.

Tears threatened to spill through my eyes.

I didn't know how it felt like to be loved like this.

Unconditionally.

Without a reason.

Just like this.

I got up from the bed, walked towards Aryan and hugged him tightly.

He hugged me back tighter if it was even possible.

I could feel him kiss my neck.

"I love you." I mumbled, not sure if he could hear me.

"I love you more, my pretty woman." He replied back, which made me smile so big.
