I frowned as I looked down to see Elena calling me.

Why would she be called me of all people

Rolling my eyes briefly, I stopped mid drink of the stolen bottle of Whiskey.

I'd stolen it from Jenna's hidden stash in the house.

I took a large swig from the bottle before declining her call.

I sighed a soft breath of relief before my phone rang again.

I groaned as I laid on the cold and damp grass. I stared up at the night sky.

I turned and went to decline the call again but I accidentally answered the call.

I sarcastically say "St. Steven's home for delinquent girls. Madam speaking." I hear Elena softly breathing on the other end of the phone.

I rolled my eyes.

She then says worriedly "Please come pick me up! No one is answering my calls. I-I also wanna spend time with my sister." I scoffed.

I snapped "Yeah no. I'm gonna stay where I'm at and get drunk. Besides, you're either high or you're dying to actually be desperate to spend time with me since you hate me. No kindly fuck off and shove a large cactus up your ass you feel it in your throat like a fucked up blowjob. Bye bye now." I hung up.

I then turned my phone off.

I laid on the ground wishing for a better life away from all of this. I took another large swig of the Whiskey.

Growing up it was always Elena who seemed to outshine both Jeremy and I.

Which wasn't true.

She'd try to switch our report cards with her own or she'd bribe our teachers.

Sometimes she'd blackmail the teachers too.

It never made sense why she'd go to such lengths.

Sure, I was always the smarter twin between the two of us. She was the one everyone wanted to be around.

I opened my eyes and slowly sat up going to take another swig when I heard something break in the nearby woods.

I frowned.

What or who the hell was also out here?

I slowly got up and brushed off my black pants as some pine needles started to cling and poke me.
