a youngling hybrid, Diamond Nova, chased after her two friends behind, laughing with carefree joy and happiness as they play around. Playing tag and such around the town of Utopia. Diamond could see many different species around the town as she runs around while chasing after her friends.

"Hi Miss Celia!! Bye Miss Celia!" She greeted a woman, who was walking by as she run passed her." Oh! Careful young one!" yelled Celia with a soft smile as she watch her go and play with the other two. Diamond finally caught up with her friends as they playfully play tag to each other before Diamond bump into someone making her fall on her butt.

"Hey! watch were you going freak!!" yelled a elf boy to her before walking away. Diamond flinch at that as Star rush to her side and help her up." Oi! dont called my best friend that!!" turquoise yelled in anger while glaring at the elf with not happy look. "dont listen to him Diamond, you are not a freak!!! you are unique!" Star said softly to Diamond, who gave her a small smile. "thank you star and thanks for defending me Turquoise." she thank both of her friends.

"Dont worry Diamond, you are my best friend! I dont care that you are different. You are my best friend." Star yelled while hugging Diamond with a huge smile making Diamond giggle before frowning a bit.

You see, ever since she slowly growing up, she always got a lot of stares and whispered by everyone every time she and her mother walking around the town. Her mother would always glared at those who were eyeing at her and whispering to each other, making them look away and left. 'I know that im different. . . . mom told me about my origin and such.' thought Diamond before sighing before yelping when something was thrown towards to her and hitting her on the back of her head, making her fall over.

"DIAMOND!!" Both Turquoise and star yelled in horror as they both kneel down and help her stood up." Well, well, well~ look do we have here??? a three misfits~ especially the freak." the three of them look over to someone who throw a rock at diamond.

"Betty." Star growl while hugging Diamond on the side with a frown on her face. "Hello misfits, together and forever. You all look a bunch of losers." Better said while a grin before tilting her head." especially you, freak, you are different and always be a freak." Betty said with a smirk as her friends laugh. Star growl and glared at her while Turquoise have a frown and glared at her as well. Diamond flinch and look down as small tears start gathering in her eyes.

"Aw look! she's gonna cry! yeah go cry you cry baby!" mocked Betty as her friends start laughing and began mocking her 'Cry baby! cry baby!' this cause diamond to cry even more. Star was about to yell at them for making fun of her best friend before stopping herself when she saw someone standing behind them.

a cold voice making betty and her friends froze and slowly turn around to see council Celia, who was smiling and beside her is Mariah, who look furious as ever but didnt show it as her expression held a poker face. But her aura around her were dark and anger on it.

Diamond look up and tear up even more after seeing her mother." Mom." she whimpered as she rushed towards to her mother, who kneel down and scoop her sobbing daughter into her arms, and comfort her softly. Celia smile towards to Betty and her friends, who look scared and trembling when two adults stood before them. "come along children, im sure your parents will be hearing about this." Celia said softly as she walk forward making Betty and her friends follow her behind with guilt and ashame on their face.

Mariah watch them go before focusing on comforting her daughter softly in her arms. "Im sorry miss Mariah, we tried our best to keep them away from her." Turquoise apologize while Star nodded while looking down. Mariah smile softly towards to them and gently adjust her hold as she hold Diamond on one arm while the other, she use it to pat Turquoise's and Star's head softly.

"It is not your fault. Both of you two. . . I Thank you for standing up for my daughter." Mariah said softly to her with a soft smile on her face." Now, run along you two. Im sure your family are worried about you two." Mariah said softly as Star and Turquoise nodded before saying good bye to diamond and then left.

Two suns that was about to set in utopia, Both Diamond and Mariah were walking home. Diamond was looking down at her feet while walking beside her mother and holding her mother's hand." Sweetie?? my little gem, whats with that face??" Mariah asked softly towards to her daughter as she saw diamond look down.

"mommy. . . . . . . am i really different than every children???? around my age??" Diamond asked as she look up to her mother. Mariah frown before walking in front and kneel down in front of her daughter." what do you mean my little gem??" Mariah asked softly towards to her daughter." They keep saying that im a hybrid. . . halfling. . . . . .not a full blooded guardian like you and the rest." Diamond answered as she rubbed her hands with a frown on her face.

Mariah continued as she hold her daughter close." and then we both realize, we both fell in love." Diamond beam happily before speaking." and then you both got married and have me!" Mariah laugh softly before nodding as she hold her close." Of course. Your brothers and sister were overjoyed when you were born." she said softly as Diamond look at her mother with confused look.

"Brothers? sister?? i have older brothers and sister??" Diamond asked in confusion." Yes, you have brothers and sister." Mariah answered her question with a soft smile." really?! " Diamond asked with happiness on her expression making Mariah chuckle softly to her daughter's happiness." yes. When you were born, they were happy and overjoyed. Your oldest brother, Prima was the first brother to hold you in his arms." Mariah said softly with a soft smile.

"Your brother look scared and terrified that he might hurt you cause how small and fragile you are." Mariah asid softly as she gently poke her daughter, making Diamond giggle. "Your brothers and sister were argue a lot of who will hold you longer and care for you." Mariah said softly making Diamond giggle.

"And when your father finally got his turn to hold you. . . . .Your father have a biggest smile on his faceplate and love for you my little gem." Mariah said softly with a fond smile. "He loves you so much and he barely lets you go." mariah said soft smile as Diamond smile happily while listening to her mother before giving a pondered look.

"Mommy?? where's papa??? same goes to big brothers and big sister??" Diamond asked her mother. Mariah gave her daughter a sad look. She wanted to tell her the truth but she couldnt as she didnt want her daughter to hold a grudge against the councils and anger." i dont know my little gem. . . i dont know. . . .
