A week had passed since the news about Komari Sensei's passing. I stare at the photo of me with all of the teachers, along with Komari Sensei. Me and all of the teachers still can't believe that she took her own life.

Komari sensei, she's someone who's very cheerful and always takes care of those around her. In our last meeting, she said that she planned to take her parents to their hometown by the end of the month. We know how much she wanted to make her family happy.

As I'm in deep thought, I feel a presence next to me. I look up to see Kurehito sensei look at me with a worried face. He sits next to me as we are waiting for the parents of our student to pick her up. He sees me holding the photo and points at Komari Sensei.
Kurehito: Is she the teacher that I sub for?
I nod my head and tell him about Komari Sensei. How she and I are quite close in age and very close.
Y/N: I'm happy to have her as my partner... I enjoy every moment where we teach together... Komari Sensei is a good teacher...
Then I saw the mother of my last student come. I take the child to her mom and they leave the area. As I'm about to get inside to take my belongings.
Kurehito: I'm sorry... I wish I could be a good partner for you too, Y/N sensei
I looked at him and then I remembered what I said earlier.

Y/N: ah, I'm sorry Kurehito sensei... it wasn't that you're not a good partner... It's just...I've been working with Komari Sensei for 3 years... and so... I just miss her...
Kurehito: so, are you okay having me as a sub teacher?
I look at Kurehito sensei and see that he looks like he's genuinely worried. I want to lift his spirit so he'll be more confident.
Y/N: Kurehito Sensei... I think sensei is a great teacher... you're really good at handling children and the kids are all comfortable around you. Also...
Kurehito Sensei stared at me as I continued to speak. It's been a week since we worked together and if there's something I got to learn about him it is that he looks like he's enjoying his time with children.

Y/N: Sensei, you always look at all of the children with warm eyes, and your complexion always shows how you enjoy being with them... I can see that... you are a good teacher sensei... and you're a good teaching partner...
He looks stunned for a moment but then he smiles.
