Ch. 6 Promises

~3rd Person POV~

The hero associations in every district are busy, news about the number one hero's wife abducted by new villains, spread all around the country as if it follows wherever the wind blows. Bakugo Katsuki has been restless, hopping from one place to another in order to find Y/N.

Wherever there's a slight information about someone who looks like Hell Gate and his team, Katsuki would blast there from miles away. Even now, after hearing that someone sees a person who looks like Rosethorn, Katsuki immediately heads there, followed by his friends. But unfortunately, just like yesterday, Katsuki couldn't find a trace of the people who kidnapped Y/N.

Katsuki's hands are clenched and sparks could be seen, Red Riot hardened his body to prepare for what's coming, so do the other heroes who distance themselves from God Dynamite. Just before Katsuki managed to blow the place down, his hands are engulfed in ice.

Shoto: Bakugo, calm down... going rampage won't help us find Y/N san faster...

Jiro: Rather, it'll give extra jobs to the heroes in here and hinder them from looking for Y/N...

Katsuki is angry and restless, he crashes the ice in his hands. He approaches Shoto, but Kaminari and Kirishima stand between them.

Denki: Oi, you've been going here and there since Y/N san's missing... you need to rest Bakugou...

Eiji: moreover...

Kirishima put a hand on Katsuki's shoulder.

Eiji: you... haven't checked on Kazuki and Kamiki...

Shoto: although, your parents and Y/N's family's with them, and the heroes practically guard them... they still need their father...

Tenya: Bakugou, go to them... Because they too must've been shocked seeing their mother taken away in front of their eyes... and wish to be with their father...

Although he's cursing inside, pissed off because everyone is giving him advice, he can't deny that what his friends are saying are right. He hasn't seen Kazuki and Kamiki since that day. He's too immense in finding Y/N, thinking that it's the way to cheer his children.

The heroes see the proud number one hero's shoulder lumped. They sympathize with the number one hero who's looking for his wife and they help him out, but they too need to rest, their stamina is different from Katsuki and exhausted following his pace. Seeing that God Dynamite will finally take a break, they are finally at ease for a bit.

Tokoyami: rest assured... we won't give up... we will look for as many clues.... For now, go to your kids...

Katsuki sighs and then he heads to where his children stayed. The other heroes watch as Katsuki leaves, they're all praying for the well being of his family.

Katsuki arrived at the protection quarter. He walks to the unit where Kazuki and Kamiki rest. As he reaches his destination, his mother looks back and sees him. Kazuki was reading a book and Kamiki was bottle fed by Mitsuki when Katsuki entered the room, but the moment they saw their father, tears started falling from their eyes.

Fighting with villains often leaves Katsuki injured, but the pain is incomparable with looking at his children in tears.

Kazuki: Da...

Kazuki runs to his father and Katsuki immediately scoops him in his arms. Mitsuki hands Kamiki to her son. The kids crying while snuggling the number one hero. Mitsuki whispers to Katsuki.

Mitsuki: stay with them tonight... they miss their parents... at least, let them know that their father is here for them... and you too need to rest...

With that Mitsuki leaves the room, letting her son and grandchildren to spend time together. Katsuki walks to the bed and sits on the bed with his children still in his arm. Katsuki lays his body on the bed, Kazuki snuggles on the side of Katsuki while Kamiki is on top of his body. Kamiki sits on her father's body, stares at her father and pats his face.
