".........it's been days since father came home." "....I'm stuck thinking about possible reasons why." "......I've tried asking mom but she didn't state a reasonable explanation why he hasn't been home."
".......it's either she says" .....he's on a business trip" or " maybe he travelled, that's why he's not been home but he'll be back soon."
".......mom doesn't know she can't lie to me." "....I know she's hiding something and I will find out what it is whether or not she likes it."
".....my guts are always right although I can't place my finger on it but I will find out no matter what happens."
".......after weeks of bugging mom to spill the beans, she still doesn't say a thing so I've given up on asking her so that means I will get answers through other means since she isn't helping."
"..... at least she should consider the fact that I'm her first child so she can at least say something instead of keeping mute."
"......a problem shared is half solved." As the saying goes.
"......time to take a shower but first, I have to pray to God and once I'm done, I will go to the washroom to brush my teeth then have a shower."

"........so mom, what do we have here?." I asked noticing the breakfast tray in her hands and I know she only does that when she wants to tell me something but I'll play dumb so she won't suspect that I'm on to her."
"........oh, uhm I brought you breakfast."
"......thanks mom but what's the occasion?."
".......can't I bring my daughter breakfast in bed?."
".....no mom, I didn't mean it that way, I'm sorry."

"........anyways, I want to discuss something with you."
".....I knew it!! ." "......she won't bring me breakfast in bed without a reason." I said inwardly.
".....sure, sit mom."I told her pointing to my bed.
".....and let me have that." I said collecting the tray from her.
".......so, Royal I will like to answer all the questions you've been asking me all this while which I answered none because I wasn't ready nor was I strong to say anything yet."
"........she kept mute but I ventured for her to continue which she did."
"........but before I continue, you have to promise me that you wouldn't say anything to your siblings."

" ........the reason why your father hasn't been coming home is because we had an argument and he left us taking all his belongings along."
".......wait......what do you mean by he has left us ?."
" .......yes.......he has left....leaving me to cater for us all alone."
"....... before he left, he told me that I couldn't do anything without his presence and I've sought out to prove him wrong."
"......so....... hold on mom all these has been happening and you didn't seem it fit that I should be aware?." I said in a slightly raised tone we'd hitch I didn't mean to.
".......hey, do not raise your voice at me, young lady, I'm still your mother."
".....I'm sorry mom, I didn't mean to." I stated as I embraced her into a tight hug which she accepted wholeheartedly."
"......so.....mom,what will you do now ?."
"......I'll try to get a job even if it's the job of a cleaner because I cant watch my children starve when I'm still capable of taking care of them."
".....I promise to make you proud because I'm not in support of the way he treats us."
"......I support you all the way mom."I said as I embraced her tightly."

" ...... I hope you enjoy the breakfast I brought for you because we've not been on talking terms the past few weeks."
