" As soon as we got home, I unpacked our dirty lunch boxes and ventured towards the kitchen to wash them when I found mom on the kitchen floor crying."

"She keeps asking herself one question over and over again."

"...........Why does he have to do this to me again?." " I am confused." " ........Who is the "he" and what did he do?."

" Realization hit me and immediately I knew who it is she's referring to." " ...........No one other than my father."

" ........... mom, what's wrong?." " I'm waiting for a reply and hopefully she won't hide it from me."

" .......Royal, your father ( she said in between sobs) has impregnated another woman again after the one that gave birth to a girl and he threatened to leave us if I confront him."

"......... oh c'mon did he have to do this again, this is not fair to us." " This is too terrible."

" ....... mom, I wish I can do something but alas there is nothing I can do for now but I will make sure he pays for it all later."

~~~~~~~~~~ RACHAEL'S POV~~~~~~~~

" I have to start preparing dinner before the kids get home."

~The door then opens to reveal John~

" ...... hey woman, I want to tell you something." " I'll have to postpone cooking for now so I can hear him out."

" .... what is it again John?." " ....say what you have to say after all. I don't control you."

" ......mind how you talk to me woman so you won't regret it." " ........anyways, I just want to let you know that someone's pregnant for me." " ......and there's nothing you can do about it because if you dare question me you won't live to regret it."

"........what do you mean you have gotten someone pregnant?." " .....why do you hate me so much?." " ....why?...

" Shut up woman so you don't regret it later and don't dare question me."

" .......me not having anything doing at the moment is making John great me like thrash."

" He doesn't even respect the vows we made on the altar years back." " ...what have I gotten myself into? and I was warned but I was too young and naive to listen."

" I hope I'm able to find a way around all this soon so he can pay for his atrocities."

" ...... thinking about it all, I didn't know when I started crying." " ........ it seems Royal and her siblings are back from school because I can hear her shouting " mom, we're home" but I'm too weak and hurt to reply."

" .......... I guess she's unpacking their lunch boxes and is headed towards the kitchen."

".....I can hear her footsteps and they are becoming closer with every second that passes."

"..........I was still blaming myself for John's infidelity when I saw her sitting next to me."

".....mom, what has happened again?." " .....is it father again?."

" ......I feel I shouldn't hide anything from her since she's also a female so I will tell her everything."

".....after I was done explaining things to her, I advised her to work hard, achieve great things in life, have her own job, be successful and not depend on any man before venturing to marry a husband so she won't end up the way I did."

" I want the best for my children but I'm struggling to deal with my own emotions."

" ......I know she's determined once she sets her heart and mind to something or someone." " I'm sure she'll make me proud."

".......mom, I promise you that I will sue him for everything once I've achieved my goals."

" I trust she'll keep to her promise because she's not a quitter."
