".........what took you so long to pick us up ?."
"......afternoon my dear, I had some extra things to do at work so I couldn't come early."
"......I'm sorry."
".....okay mom, I'll go get my back so we can get going." "...I'll be back."

I rushed over to where my bag was. It was when I saw Oswald sitting beside it that I remembered I hadn't told him mom's around.
"...... Oswald, my mom's here so I gotta go now."
"......oh, that's nice." ".....let me see you off."
"....okay, but are you sure?." I asked him because I didn't like the idea of him seeing me off.
"......yeah, totally."
".......then let's go." I stated after a long pause.
".....Good afternoon ma." Oswald greeted.
".....Good afternoon dear."
"...... uhm, Royal, I guess I have to go back now."
".....oh, okay, bye see you tomorrow."
"......yeah, same here."
".....Royal, who is that boy that escorted you and also greeted me?."
".....is he your boyfriend?."
".....oh, no, no no, no,no mom, he's just a friend."
"....a friend?."
".....the last time I checked, you don't keep friends especially boys so how come?."
How I wish I can tell her one of the reasons I never kept friends is because of her and father.
They've always told me that friends are not to be trusted and I shouldn't keep friends because that's not the reason why I was sent to school.
I didn't know what to say so I didn't reply her.
"......Royal, Royal aren't you the one I'm talking to?." I still didn't reply.
"...Are you deaf ?."
"......can't you answer?."She stated angrily but I didn't reply because I didn't know what to say.
She kept pestering me till we got home and even when we got home, she continued.
It became tiring but I chose not to answer her if not she'll find a way to split us up and not be friends ever again.
And I don't want that to happen because this is my first real friendship.
So she could stop pestering me, I told her we're just friends and nothing more.
I'm glad she agreed after a long pause .
Just as I expected, she warned me to be very cautious.
