Six Years Later..
Valerie and Five were now a married couple. They ended up starting their own life. There was just one catch, they lived a secret working for the CIA.
The two clapped as they cheered for Gus in some circle. A bald man turned to the couple, they wore disguises.
"How about you? Anything you wanna share?" The leader spoke
"Yeah, sure" Five spoke
"Hi, my names Jerome. This is my wife Amelia. We're still new to all this, but we can tell you folks what you're talking about is real" Five stated
"You're not crazy" Valerie smiled
"I know because I've been to other timelines. I dont look it but I'm 63 and so is my wife" Five stated
Valerie wasn't actually Five's age and no one needed to really know that.
"I spent 45 years lost in a future apocalypse and I was involved in the Kennedy assassination. All that's unraveling now. I don't know what's real and what's not anymore. I feel like I can't trust anybody" Five spoke
He sighed
"All we know is we're glad to have found all of you" Valerie smiled
"That's it, that's all we got" Five said
They received an applause
"You wanna hear some real shit, kid?" The leader asked
Valerie leaned over
"I'll take you to a real meeting" He added
The couple was now making their way inside the the CIA building.
"Youre late" an Agent spoke
They were handed their formal attire. Five a suit and Valerie a pencil skirt with her blouse and blazer.
"Mustache and wig" The agent spoke
Valerie ripped the mustache off of Five and took off her wig. They were now in an office
"The Keepers function mainly as a support group, but with strong cult like tendencies" Five explained
"Membership is rapidly growing across all metro areas in the US, as well as Europe" Valerie added
"Its a in our report, Sir" Five said
"What's the organizing principle?" The man asked
"They believe we're all somehow stuck in the wrong timeline" Valerie replied
"Well.. just a bunch of loony tunes if you ask me" He laughed
The couple stared at the man blankly
"Drop this Keeper nonsense, move on. I think it's time you both got back to your other cases. Ladybug, Panama, Chicken Wing" The man spoke
"Sir, we are making progress with this case-" Valerie began
"Now, you listen to me. You two have the makings of a fantastic spook. Suspicious minds, a love of complexity and detail. A certain maturity that most of my young agents lack. Play your cards right, one of you two can run this place someday" He told the pair
