They entered the mansion. Yibo behind Zhan, taking sneaky steps as he knows Mrs Xiao isn't hard to handle. The one who's hard. . .well impossible for him to handle is his own mother. "Zhannie, you need to save me from mom. You're my Knight now." Yibo whispered, clutching Zhan's shoulder. Zhan sighs in annoyance. "Come on Bo-" Before he could complete a voice interrupted him.

"So you guys are home." Mrs Wang spoke. She was sitting on the couch with crossed legs, next to her is her best friend with the same position but with a softness on her face. Of course Mrs Xiao is rather softer while dominance is all that surrounds Mrs Wang. Mr Wang and Xiao were sitting beside each other on the other couch, letting their wives handling their kids.

Yibo gulped down. "Hey, mom." He peeks out from Zhan's behind.

"You still got guts to say it, huh!!" Mrs Wang gritted.

"Listen mom, we can explain-"

"Wait you little brat!!" Mrs Wang burst out, running toward Yibo.

Yibo run quite a while, Mrs Wang following him. But before she could catch him he rushed behind Zhan, pushing him toward his mom. "That's so unfair mom!! Zhannie was also part of it!" Yibo shouts with fear, making Zhan glaring at him.

"Mummy...." Zhan nervously smiled at her.

"Yibo is right, Wai Han! Zhan is as punishable as Yibo!" Mrs Xiao interrupt.

"But Jingtong i know, it must be his plan not Zhan's."

Yibo and Zhan quietly exchange a glance. Because well, it was truly Yibo's idea! Yibo was shaking his head at Zhan, begging him not to reveal it. Zhan sighs.

Zhan, "No mummy, it wasn't his whole fault. I am as much as guilty as him. It was both of our decision."

Yibo's gaze softened at him, he was relieved but also ashamed.

"We're really sorry mummy. We shouldn't have lied to you. Sorry mom." Zhan said, his voice and face reflecting on the deed they did.

"Yeah, mom and mummy sorry. But see we no longer are rivals. Rather we're besties now." Saying it Yibo wrapped arm around Zhan's shoulder.

Mrs Xiao approached Mrs Wang. "It's ok. Forgive them." She sweetly uttered with a smile. A heavy long sigh escaped from Mrs Wang. "Okh."

Yibo and Zhan become happy and quickly went to hugged their moms. "You guys truly are friends, right? You're not lying again?" Mrs Wang asks. "No mom!! We really are friends now!" Saying it Yibo hugged Zhan from behind. "Actually not friends, but closest friends you can ever see!" He added as he pressed a peck on Zhan's cheek, making Zhan scoffed tenderly.

At night in Wang Mansion,

Zhan was sitting on Yibo's bed, wearing pajamas. His lower half was covered in blanket. A book in his hand. Yibo came out from the bathroom after taking a shower. He took his phone and saw a text from Wenhan, saying he still can't believed Cheng Xiao really getting married. Yibo sat on the edge of the bed, replying to Wenhan's text. Then suddenly he burst into laughter. Zhan's attention averted to him.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"Nothing. Just Wenhan texted me that maybe Kai hasn't saw Cheng Xiao's real form yet. Or else he won't gonna marry her!" Saying it Yibo again burst into laughter.

Zhan snorted. "Come on! Xiaoxiao is really a very good person."

Yibo, "Yeah, i know. But haven't you see her anger!? It's hard to control her."
