Dear Leah,
I cannot believe it but you are officially my girlfriend. I gave you that necklace last night and you absolutely loved it. The gods must've been on our side because after, the sky started to fill with the most beautiful aurora borealis. Though I should've mentioned that you're more beautiful than any phenomenon happening in the sky. You kissed me. And then I kissed you. And now we're here... dating.
This is a dream come true and I promise I will be the best boyfriend ever to you! I mean I obviously was already the best friend to you so I feel like my credentials really make me qualify for this position.
You had the great idea to keep it between us for the next little bit and I absolutely love the idea of it just being us. I think once the general public gets involved then being in public or online presence for us might be a bit different for a while. That's okay though. It's totally worth it for my dream girl.
Your birthday is in 3 days and I'm so excited. I'm keeping the sweaters as a surprise so I have something to also give you during your birthday dinner with the cast. I think you'll love it, just maybe not as much as the necklace. Today is our last day in Banff and we're going to the caves first. I love how much swimming we've done on this little trip. On top of that, everytime we swim it's always got a beautiful background to look at.

We haven't found any ghosts yet and it's kind of disappointing. I'm thinking we can do one more look-over of the place before we head back into calgary. I know the ghosts were what you were secretly most excited for.
Okay I need to go because you just got out of the shower and will probably be ready in like five minutes. You got me this journal to help me understand my feelings for you, and now we're here dating. I still can't wrap my mind around it. Maybe one day I'll let you read this journal. Just definitely not today. Okay bye now
