7. Interview day

Today was interview day, sometimes these got boring so the boys would plan little things to do in the show. Today they were feeling particularly annoying.

The first interview I was pulled into

'okay Andy you look like me so you have to do this interview for me' Michael sad as we walked in

'what no Michael' I laughed

'sorry it's been decided' he said walking off laughing

'by who I didn't have a say in the asshole' I yelled to his retreating back, he was probably going to bang Emily in a back room

'okay you're on' we got pretty much pushed into a room, with a live audience and a lot of lights, for. Second I was slightly shocked an Ashton who was walking behind me had to guide me

'this will never work' I murmured to him

'it's not meant to' he whispered back

'and here are 5seconds of summer! Hiya boys how have you been? How has tour been?' They had had interview with this man before surely he will notice, did he know, I didn't know what to do so I just went with it.

Luke and Ashton were talking about how much they love the fans

'but of course in reality we just love the food' I cut in grinning, Calum had to disguise a laugh as a cough

The interviewer looked taken aback for a second 'obviously Michael went for the food route' Ashton laughed

'Michael' the interviewer said slowly

'yeah' I said grinning

'okay' the interviewer looked at the crew and they all shrugged so he carried on 'what are you going to do once tour is over then boys' he read from his cards

'sleeping' Ashton laughed

'eating' I added

'do you boys get enough sleep on tour?' The interviewer asked

'not at all' Ashton laughed

'but it's for different reasons with Luke and Michael' Calum said winking

'that sounds really bad' Luke said

'well with this set up' I laughed

And suddenly Michel was running across the set, picked me up and ran off with me laughing, he put me down on the side and ran back in, the audience were laughing but the boys managed to keep a straight face while the interviewer just looked confused.

'one day they'll be banned from interviews' Emily said from behind me

This TV station also wanted to take some photos so they got the boys all set up but just before the photo was taken Michael dropped his trousers and Ashton made bunny ears behind Luke and Calum's heads.

They were less annoying in the second interview

'so today we have The latest big thing, 5 seconds of summer' the interviewer smiled as the camera panned out to show the boys. 'do you want to introduce yourself and what you do'

'hi I'm Luke and I play bass' Michael started with a massive grin, the interviewer looked confused

'I'm Ashton and I play guitar' Luke continued before the interviewer could cut in

'oh' she paused 'okay and you boys' she turned to Ashton and Calum

'hi I'm Michael and I play drums' Calum started

'hi I'm Calum and I do the vocals in the band' Ashton finished with a laugh

The interviewer just looked down at her cards confused

'and these are our newest members' Luke said motioning at us off set

'we're going for a slipknot vibe' Calum said as we were ushered on by confused crew

'hi I'm Emily and i play the keyboard' I said thinking on my feet

'hi I'm Andy and I play' Emily paused 'the triangle' she made a motion like she was playing the triangle

They hadn't prepared for 2 more people so we had to wait for 2 more chairs, I could see management shaking their heads on the set but there was nothing they could do, this was all live and that's why the boys did it

'okay so we have some fan questions, this is from abbiloux on twitter it's for Michael' the interviewer Said turning to Michael

'that would be me' Calum said with a straight face

'right okay, well then how do you keep the colours in your hair without them fading' the interviewer looked amused

'they mean this blonde patch' Calum said running his hands through his hair 'i get it done professionally, not like some people' he turned to look at Michael and I

By the third interview they were tired and it was a radio interview so they didn't have much leeway to mess up

'so then boys, how do you keep cool in the summer' the radio interviewer asked, Emily and I were sat on the other side of the glass listening in

'wear jeans like Andy' Luke said and they all burst into laughter

'now Andy's your girlfriend right Luke?' The interviewer cut in

'partner yeah'

Partner? Have you finally put a ring on it'

Luke laughed almost bitterly 'no, we've been together so long now she's more than my girlfriend, she's my best friend and partner in crime'

'so what's wrong with her jeans' the interviewer quickly changed the subject

'she never buys ripped jeans she's just so clumsy they seem to rip and her favourite ones have a rather large patch out of the knee' Ashton laughed

'we always say they're hardly jeans they're almost shorts' Michael joined in

I looked down at the jeans I was currently wearing and shrugged, they weren't wrong
