Twilight Grove was a town that many had deemed to be boring, worth paying little attention to. A small town in Illinois that's main attraction was the girls undefeated soccer team.
The Twilight Owl.
Every year, the townspeople would gather on the Twilight Grove High's bleachers, watching intensely as the girls sprinted, and fought with all their strength to win against any team that dared to challenge them.

The leader of the team was the teams Central Midfielder, Madison Walker, a bright, talented 17 year old who practically drew everyone's attention as she walked down the hallway.
The brunette had been the teen captain since her Junior year, being the glue that held the group together.
Madison was the type of girl who would pick up spare trash on the side of the road, one who tried to keep a positive mindset and who tried to see the best in everyone.
Some would say she was naive, others would say she had a good heart.
Madison was a hard worker who wanted to make her senior year the best it could, trying to make the best of her year before she went away to University with a Psychology major.

Madison stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her smeared makeup she had sweated off during their practice.
The white #6 shown boldly against the school's dark purple jersey.
"Hey, Maddog!"
Madison looks up in the mirror, smiling as her best friend, Veronica Green, the team's Goalie.

The two had been best friends for years, living only a couple houses down from each other.

"Hey, Ronnie,"
The blonde approaches the girl, her blue eyes meet Madison's brown in the mirror. "You did good out there,"
Madison smiles, turning around to face the blonde, "Thanks, it was easy when the goalie was too busy daydreaming," she teases, earning a playful eye roll from her best friend.
"I was not,"
"Was too, even the rookie freshmen was able to score a goal on you,"
Madison and Veronica both turn to see the team's Midfielder, as well as the school's
'Trailer Trash', Sophie Parker.
The girl who Madison's eye always went to in the hallway, not in a negative way, but almost in awe. Madison found herself being amazed by the girls confidence and her ability to not give a single fuck of what others thought of her.
She loved her bleach blonde shag that complimented her hazel eyes and fit perfectly with the girls 'rebellious' style. Veronica hardens her glare, having a pure hatred for the girl for a reason no one really knew other than the fact that Veronica thought exactly what a lot of others around the school thought, that Sophie was nothing but trailer trash.
"Stay out of it, Trailer Trash,"
Sophie's gaze remains neutral, clearly use to the insult from the girl, she shakes her head slightly, giving a soft chuckle, "Wow, seems like someone is really insecure about their goalie skills,"
"Can both of you just knock it off?" Madison sighs.
Veronica shrugs, "I'm just saying that maybe the one who shows up to practice everyday reeking like cheap booze and cigarettes, maybe shouldn't be critiquing anyone else,"
Madison rolls her eyes, "Veronica, knock it off,"
Sophie holds her hand up, "Well, the person who let the rookie freshmen who just started playing soccer score like two goals on you, maybe you aren't as good as you think,"

Said rookie freshmen, Laura Matthews then walks over, her golden blonde hair loosely in a ponytail, her hands on her hips.
"I mean, you did seem kinda...off,"
Veronica rolls her eyes, "Okay, well fuck maybe I should just quit the fucking team then if I'm that horrible,"
Sophie rolls her eyes, about ready to speak before another one of their teammates, Talia Evans walks over.

"What the fuck are you guys arguing about now?"
"Some stupid shit that can wait," Madison crosses her arms over her chest.

"Veronica, you're not a bad goalie. Sophie, you aren't trailer trash and Laura, for a rookie, you're pretty good at soccer. Problem solved?" the brunette raises a brow, looking around.
