"Ahjussi......that's cheating." Ms. Linda whined.
"I am full...I can't eat anymore. Really....." Young-Jae spoke up trying to make her believe.
"Only a little bit left." she complained. "All right. Let's make a deal. I have something for you but I will only give you that if you finish your food and take medicines." Ms. Linda offered.
Young-Jae looked at her suspiciously for a certain time but was stubborn not to eat anymore.
"Okay....your loss." Ms. Linda said which appeared fishy to Young-Jae. "Fine." he said and finished the leftovers and then took the medicines which Ms. Linda handed him.
"Now, what is it?" Young-Jae asked.
Ms. Linda smiled and put everything in its place before taking out something and handing to him. Young-Jae looked at the wrapped gift box first and then at her. She assured him with her eyes to open it.
Young-Jae opened the gift box and found a photo frame of the photoshopped picture of Yoomi and him.
"Yoomi sent this yesterday." Ms. Linda said before leaving the room with the food tray giving him his private moment.
Young-Jae caressed the photo frame. His face grinned with a smile realising his little princess became actually a grown up woman. While he was looking at the picture, a piece of paper fell down. He picked it up. It was a letter from his daughter, Yoomi.
"Appa, I graduated. I am fine. Don't worry about me. I started my internship at Hybe. You know the huge idol agency in kpop with the huge building. I work there, hehe. Though it's just internship for 30 day, still I made it. Are you proud of me? I am sure you are, heh. You better be." Reading this, Young-Jae chuckled.
He knew his daughter, he knew she was so grown up, so responsible, so mature and so capable. He was proud of her always whether she was successful or not. He missed her. He started reading the rest of the letter.
"I have saved graduation gown for you too. Get well soon, appa. We need to take lots of picture. We need to see the world. I know I couldn’t meet you these days but I will meet you soon. Take care and listen to Ms. Linda's words. Saranghae, appa."
Young-Jae read the letter multiple times before folding the letter carefully and put away in the drawer beside his bed along with the photo frame.
The letter said lots of things but what it didn’t said was how much Yoomi missed her father, how difficulties she had in her life. Yoomi didn’t want her father to be in any pressure at any cost.
Time skips,
It's been three weeks since Yoomi started to work at Hybe IT section. There were many ups and downs. Her relationship with Yoongi was weird. Although Yoongi had hatred for her, but she could see other emotions in his eyes but couldn’t define those. But Yoongi didn’t stop pestering or taunting her. It wasn’t like he used to follow or stalk her but whenever they get to be in front of each other or around each other, he would say anything stupid to taunt her and someday Yoomi would reply and someday Yoomi wouldn’t.
On the other hand, he was Yoomi's bias but sometimes, she would feel like strangling his throat until he die. But then again, sometimes she would watch him with admiration, adoration and maybe with a bit of love and care.
Her situation with her senior, Yeonseon was still the same. She didn’t know why but Yeonseon hated her no matter what she did. So, she realised her senior was a negative character in her life no matter what happened.
Her bonding Nicole increased with the days. It was civil. If she was asked to choose one name who could be her genuine friend, she would Nicole. Even though, she should call her eonnie as Nicole was older than her. But she never cared to call anyone with oppa or eonnie. And about Nicole, she never called her by her name too. But she decided to call her eonnie from then on.
