"ida this is serious" i said laughing. "and i am too" ida said. "you are no help" i said laughing as i laid back on the bed.
"okay but seriously, just tell em. i think he'd react well" ida said nodding. "mkay, im finna text him to come over. i love you!" i said.
"i love you too! ride or die!" she said making me laugh as i hung up.

"hey" KJ said smiling as i opened the door. "heyy" i said smiling back as i wrapped my arms around him and hugged him.
"okay so what we doing today?" KJ asked as we pulled apart and he shut the front door. "i don't know, what do you want to do?" i asked as we walked to my room.
"it don't matter" he said shrugging as i flopped on the bed. "i need a cut" KJ said as he looked at his head in the mirror.
"you sho do" i said nodding as he laughed. "shut up" he said laughing. and i quickly pulled the test out the drawer while he wasn't looking.
"but i have to talk to you" i said looking at him. "wassup?" he asked as he ran a hand through his dreads as he still looked in the mirror.
"come sit beside me, it's serious" i said and he gave me a look before sitting down slowly making me laugh. "why you look like that" i said laughing. "gon head and say it bru" he said as he got under my covers.
"KJ" i said laughing. "just say it" he said chuckling as he sat up beside me. "look" i said showing him the test and he just stared at it before staring at the wall in silence.
"knock knock, are you home?" i asked as i knocked on his forehead. "this isn't a talk" KJ said as he took the test and looked at it.
"talking about some 'look" he mumbled as he stared at the test in his hands. "i mean it's something to talk about" i said.
"no warning or nothing" KJ said. "i said it was something serious" i said as i sighed. "no warning just a 'look" KJ said redoing what i did.
"okay your worrying about the wrong thing right now" i said and he sighed and continued to stare at it.
"what you wanna do?" he asked looking at me. "i wanna keep it" i said and his mouth just fell open.
"i asked you if you felt like you was pregnant" KJ said. "and i thought i wasn't" i huffed.
"we young as hell, we still got more things to do and shit" he said as he looked back at the test. "i mean yea, but it's not like we can't handle it. we're both financially stable" i said shrugging as i looked at my hands.
"so you really want a baby?" KJ asked as he lifted my face to look at him. "yes, but do you? i mean you act like you don't" i said as i looked at him sadly.
"i mean truly, not for real. but im just tellin you we're young-" KJ tried to say.
"so what? imma be single mom?" i asked as i felt my eyes start to water. "bae. who the fuck finna let you be a single mom? at the end of the day imma take care of it and love it. but i'm just sayin, is this something you really want?" KJ asked as he explained.
"i mean i guess, i don't want to get rid of it" i said as i sighed. "okay so we won't" he said as he wiped the tear that had fell.
