Sedatives

"Here's something to drink," I said and placed a tall glass with black liquid inside in front of him.

Droid absentmindedly took the glass and took a sip. He paused for a moment and looked into it. He must have tasted the added flavor.

"What's this?" he asked, taking another sip. He probably trusted that I wouldn't poison him, but the more he drank, the better for me.

"You're not built to be constantly on the computer and not sleeping. It's time to start sleeping. I gave you cola mixed with sedatives," I replied and finished the last bite of dinner. I noticed him twitch and immediately put the cola away. He might still try to drink it.

"Sedatives?" Droid said fearfully. I saw fear fill his eyes. "No, I-I can't sleep! No-"

"They're dream sedatives," I interrupted him. His expression was priceless. Such a cute twenty-eighteen-old baby. I still can't believe he's eighteen.

"Really?" he looked at me questioningly. He seemed to be contemplating something. I wish I knew what was going on in that cute little head of his. Sometimes too much.

"Yes, and they have a fast-acting effect, so you'll feel the effects soon," I smiled and drank my cola. I didn't have any pills in mine because I can sleep.

"So basically, you drugged me," he said, his face returning to coldness. I need his emotions. He can't just be that sexy and attractive cold face. I need his cute face too.

"But for a good purpose," I smiled and left to take away the plates and the two glasses.

When I returned, I saw Droid starting to slump in his chair, barely able to keep his eyes open. He was cute again. Maybe I'll practice this more often. His cuteness was unbearable.

"Let's go to bed," I said, watching him struggle to get up from the chair. Once he stood up, he staggered. I immediately supported him and led him to his bed.

I just laid him there and left. I don't want to snoop around, or anything like that, but he could sort things out here. Literally, there's just a bed and next to it one backpack. Otherwise, everything remained untouched, collecting dust. Well, he didn't spend much time here. Or rather, not at all. Mostly, he slept on the couch or didn't sleep at all.

The morning was relatively normal. As always, he completely ignored the beautiful moment of friendship we had. He's just slow in this regard. He has to realize that we're just friends now.

But the whole day was disrupted when one of my tour managers called me. He was in charge of organizing concerts and making sure everything runs smoothly.

I completely forgot about the concert in Paris, but one thing was clear. It was the biggest concert of the year in europe. Seventy thousand tickets, all sold out. I couldn't cancel it. I have to go.

"I don't think it's a good idea to socialize until we figure out who's trying to harm you," Droid told me for the hundredth time. But I didn't argue with him. I'm just going, he just didn't understand.

"But I don't care. If I cancel it, seventy thousand people will go against me, and I'll also clearly tell that guy he scared me. Plus, there'll be much more security than usual." After this, Droid was forced to agree. Anyway, his decision wouldn't matter. I just wanted to show him that his decision had some weight on me.

In the end, I found out we had to share a hotel room. It wasn't anything unusual, after all, we already slept together in one bed.

Well that sounded very nice... But you got me, r-right?

"Pez?" Droid asked as he entered the room. He still had his cool face, but that calling my name was sweet and gentle.

"Yes?" I replied as I packed my clothes. We'll be there for three days. We'll arrive in the evening, sleep, have the concert in the evening, then party all night, and the next evening we'll go home.

"Those pills you gave me for the dreams, did they have any side effects?" he asked, looking a bit different. He had a much paler face and looked pretty bad.

"I don't know. If you're feeling unwell, lie down. Hopefully, nothing will happen to you. Then I won't have anyone to protect my immature ass," I said cheerfully, and Droid just shook his head. He stared into space for a while and then left.

It was strange, but hopefully, nothing will happen. He shouldn't have any allergies, as far as I know. Maybe I could go through his files and find out something about him. They're all with my parents because they wanted all the details. I just needed to know he could handle the trip. Then I'll let him sleep in the room, and if he gets worse, I have no problem taking care of him.
