Mattheo lagged behind the others, staying a few steps behind YN. He kept his eyes peeled for any potential threats, his mind still preoccupied by whatever thoughts were bothering him earlier.

He couldn't help but steal occasional glances at YN as they walked, his gaze lingering on her face for a fraction of a second before looking away again. She looked outcasted, he had his reasons for staying behind the group but she wasn't walking with them either. It's as if only her body existed and for some weird reason he picked up his pace to walk beside her.

Wait...what am I doing? He thought while they walked side by side. He tried to focus back on their surroundings, his eyes darting from building to building, looking for any sign of "danger". He could feel the heat inside him. What's wrong with me? Does he feel bad? Is that just another assumption of his? But  seeing her sulking behind with her head down, is very weird when she was at his neck all this time.

Mattheo kept scanning the area while thinking and that's when he noticed a group of muggles walking in the other street as they were at a crossed pathes, laughing loudly. He scanned the group with his now narrowed brown eyes and a switch seemed to flip inside him.

He tensed up, his shoulders stiffening. The reason wasn't those pathetic excuse of a human rather the tall boy that was standing in a nearby ally, nearly covered by the shadows. The boy's hand raised up and motioned for him to come.

He let out a huff under his breath before he walked quietly away from his group and towards the dark ally unnoticed by anyone because their eyes were watching the group of muggles.

Mattheo gritted his teeth as he now was standing ifront of this tall boy with pale skin, clearly annoyed by his presence. "You weren't supposed to be here," he growled. "Why are you risking everything by showing up?"

The boy leaned against the wall in the dark alleyway, his dark brown eyes glinting in the shadows. "I could ask you the same thing," he replied, a hint of mockery in his cold voice."Don't tell me you got a soft spot for this group of idiot's you're hanging around."

Mattheo ignored the boy's mocking and instead stepped closer, his irritation growing at the way he still do unexpected things without telling him when they clearly needs to work as a team. "You were meant to be at Hogwarts!" he snapped. He doesn't know why he is so upset with his presence..not like he liked it beforehand but today it seems to get on his nerves with extra toppings.

The boy shrugged casually. "I got bored. I thought I'd pay you a visit." Although despite his words, he didn't even try to be convincing.

Mattheo knew him, he would never follow  without a reason and his patience was wearing thin but Mattheo was also aware that was exactly what this twisted boy wanted so he hissed with what can be heard as a warning.  "I don't have time for your games, Tom."

His Poker face showed a smirk, the boy called Tom was clearly enjoying Mattheo's irritation.

Tom feigned innocence, a sly smile on his face. "I told you, I wanted to visit you. Can't I come see my unidentical twin without an ulterior motive?"

Mattheo rolled his eyes, knowing his brother better than anyone. "You never do anything without a purpose, Tom. So spit it out."

He chuckled, Mattheo never fails to disappoint his expectations. "Fine, I'll tell you." He pushed himself off the wall. "I found a way to retrieve our memories"

Mattheo arched an eyebrow, "Really? How do we do that? Can we do it, now?" Mattheo blurted out excitedly.

Tom's smirk widened. He loved being the one with the upper hand in their interactions. "Yes, Really...-" he mimicked Mattheo, letting the tension hang around in heavier clouds. "...Am not telling you until you give me the pappers that clears my name " He continued smoothly.

Mattheo scoffed, his aderinaline going down again.

Of course Tom would have some benefits behind all of this moreover the reason why he was in so much hurry that he came to London too.

Mattheo had told Tom about where he is not thinking much of it. And now he is here...and he wants the papers in exchange for the thing that he found in the Headmistress office.

Both have benefits in it but Mattheo knows those papers that he holds are the only reason Tom isn't working alone.

He made a Poker Face.  "You know I can't do that"

Tom rolled his eyes. His "chilling" persona gone, in place, was a seething loathing persona. "I know, moreover, I, also am aware that this is ridiculous. I have to continue drinking this poljuice to act like an illiterate person like yourself, this is torture!"

Mattheo gasped offensively "Hey!--"

"Poljuice?" A soft voice interrupted. Both the Riddle brothers looked at their side and saw that ginger haired, clear honey eyes and features mixed between soft and sharp, staring at both of them in disbelieve. (You can think of whatever look you want. I just wrote down the average one.)

YN POV

I didn't have anything to say so I kept silent and few steps behind, not intentionally, I just couldn't walk with the others, it felt like the space of this open street was too narrow.

Suddenly a whiff of musk hit my smell sense. I glanced aside and my heart beat quickened. He was there..walking at the right side of me. I should step away because I don't trust him even though my feet stayed at their pace.  Maybe..just maybe...I may have tried to follow his pace at the same time whenever he took a few steps faster.

My eyes trailed up to meet his yet his eyes were on something else. My eyes followed his. It was at this moment I heard the laughters of some mid-aged men.

The group of muggles were obviously drunk. You could tell that by the way they swing left and right, their eyes were unfocused.

They waved at us once our eyes met. "Oi! You all look so pretty..;)"  one of them shouted while the others bursted out laughing, their saliva dripping across their bottom lip and into the ground.

I stopped to see of they were going to cause a trouble as they were walking our way. So did Draco who's eyes went up and down with his lips curled up in disgust.

Once their words reached our ears I clutched my wand that was in my back pocket however I remembered that we can't use magic outside of Hogwarts. I looked infront of me at the others, it also seems like we had the same thoughts. Our only option was clear too...RUN!

I went to grab Mattheo's hand yet I only clutched into the air. My pupils widened while my head snapped at the right side of me. He wasn't there. With panic I scanned the area and i managed to caught a glimpse of his red jacket at the corner of a dark ally further down the road.

In that situation..instead of running with the others I ran after him.
