The morning after their shared revelation, Gemini and Fourth felt a subtle shift in the atmosphere between them. It was as if the dreams they'd been experiencing had peeled back a layer, revealing a deeper connection that had always been there, just waiting to be uncovered. The comfort they found in each other's presence now held an unspoken understanding, a silent promise to explore the mystery that bound them together.

On set, their performances took on an even more profound depth. Every glance, every touch, carried the weight of not just their characters' emotions but something personal, something intertwined with their own lives. The crew noticed it too. The raw, palpable chemistry between Gemini and Fourth had become undeniable, and it elevated their scenes to a level that left everyone in awe.

Yet, when the cameras stopped rolling, that same intensity made it difficult to navigate their off-screen moments. The questions loomed larger now—what were these dreams, and why were they both having them? But the answers remained elusive.

One evening, after a particularly grueling day of filming, they decided to meet at Gemini's apartment. They hadn't discussed it outright, but both knew that they needed time away from the set, a space where they could talk freely about what they were experiencing.

Gemini opened the door to find Fourth standing there, a hesitant smile on his lips. "I wasn't sure if this was a good idea," Fourth admitted as he stepped inside.

"Me neither," Gemini confessed, closing the door behind him. "But I think it's the only way we'll make sense of any of this."

Fourth nodded and followed Gemini into the living room, where they settled on the couch. There was an awkward silence, the weight of everything left unsaid pressing down on them.

"So," Fourth began, his voice uncertain, "how do we even start figuring this out? It's not like we can just Google 'shared dreams of past lives.'"

Gemini chuckled, though there was a nervous edge to it. "I was thinking the same thing. But maybe we don't have to start with the dreams themselves. Maybe we start with us—with Heart and Liming."

Fourth looked at him curiously. "What do you mean?"

"I've been thinking about it all day," Gemini explained. "These dreams—they're more than just dreams. They feel like memories. And if that's true, then maybe there's something we can find in the real world, some clue that connects us to them."

Fourth considered this for a moment, then nodded. "But how do we find them? If they existed, it would've been decades ago. We don't even know where to start."

Gemini pulled out his laptop, placing it on the coffee table. "I know it sounds crazy, but I did some research. If Heart and Liming were real people, there might be records of them—old articles, public records, something. I thought we could start looking together."

Fourth blinked in surprise, touched by how much thought Gemini had already put into this. "You've really been thinking about this, haven't you?"

Gemini shrugged, trying to downplay his anxiety. "I guess I just... I want to know why we're feeling this way. Why we're seeing what we're seeing. If it's all connected to something that actually happened, then maybe we can figure out what it all means."

Fourth's expression softened, and he reached out to place a hand on Gemini's. "Then let's find out together."

They spent the next few hours sifting through countless websites and databases, piecing together fragments of information that might lead them closer to Heart and Liming. It was a slow, tedious process, and for a while, it seemed like they were chasing shadows. But just as they were about to call it a night, Fourth's eyes lit up.

"Gemini, look at this," he said, pointing to the screen. It was an old news article from 1997, reporting on a tragic event—a young couple found dead in what had been deemed a double suicide, though the article hinted at darker forces at play, pressures from family and society.

The names in the article sent a chill down Gemini's spine. "Heart Lee and Liming Zhang," he read aloud, his voice barely above a whisper.

Fourth's hand trembled as he scrolled through the article. "It says they were inseparable, but their families disapproved of their relationship. Heart was from a conservative family, and Liming's parents... they sent him away to try and 'cure' him."

Gemini felt a wave of nausea wash over him. "They couldn't be together in life, so they chose to be together in death."

Fourth's eyes were wide, filled with a mix of sadness and disbelief. "This is them, Gemini. This is us."

The reality of what they'd discovered settled over them like a heavy blanket, the weight of Heart and Liming's tragedy pressing down on them. It was no longer just dreams—they were dealing with the echoes of real lives, real pain, and real love that had been denied the chance to flourish.

"What do we do now?" Fourth asked, his voice shaky.

Gemini looked at him, his determination tempered by the enormity of what they'd uncovered. "We make sure their story isn't forgotten. And maybe... maybe in understanding their past, we can figure out what this means for us. If we're connected to them, then there has to be a reason."

Fourth nodded, the fear in his eyes giving way to resolve. "Then we do this. For them. For us."

As they sat there, the remnants of their research scattered around them, Gemini and Fourth made a silent vow. They would uncover the truth, no matter how painful, and in doing so, they might finally understand the bond that tied them across time and space.

But even as they faced the future together, the past continued to haunt them, a shadow that loomed larger with each passing day. Heart and Liming's story was far from over, and neither was theirs.
