Matt Pov:

"Finally, I'm home," I say as I step out of the car and get my ass inside

"Hi, Agatha," I greet Romes nanny. "How's Rome doing?"

"I put him down for a nap. How was school today, Matt?" she asks

"Good," I answer

"DAD," I hear Rome screaming and turn around and see him running to me and hop in my lap

Rome calls me dad because he has never met his real dad. Well, dad was at the birth, so he met dad. He just doesn't remember it. Dad comes to visit once every five years, and Rome just turned three years old. He knows I'm not his real dad, but he does call me that.

"Hi buddy, how was today?"

"AMAZING. We did so many tings today , like the bike and fingwe paint and, and play a new game come I can show you (Rome can not pronounce the r and th sounds)

"Sound fun, buddy, let's go,"

Today, Rome woke me up at 6 a.m., and he normally wakes up at about 10 a.m., and I know I'm lucky because most kids don't love sleep as much as Rome does, normally Agatha deals with Rome but today Rome had other plans.

But that just means I'm more tired than usually at school, which is fine.

I park I'm my usual spot and walk up to Dean, "Hey bud, did you do the geography homework?" Dean asked

"Shit, I forgot,"

"Me too,"

"Ok, let's just hope Professor Kim is in a good mood,

Dean and I are sitting in class listening to Professor Kim. Well, he is. I'm deep in, though.

'Should I tell Dean I'm gay? I'm just so scared of losing him. He's not homophopic, at least not that I know. Maybe I should tell him that someone I know is gay and see his reaction? You know what, that's what I'm gonna do!'

"Class dismissed."

"You forgot to take back the homework." Some annoying ass geek says.

"Aha, yes, thanks for reminding me, homework on my desk,"

"My dog ate it," I tell Kim. He looks at me like he's bored and says

"Oh, that's too bad,"

In history, I sit next to Theo, and I'm internally screaming, I think I'm disintegrated. There are animals inside of my stomach, and I'm gonna die.

"Ok, so this is a duo project. You can pick your partner, but Jack and Nicholas, you guys can not do the project together."

"Come on, man,"

I turn to Theo. "Wanna be partners?" "Sure"

"Class dismissed."

As we walk out, I tell him, "My place tomorrow, then we will have plenty of time," "Sure, see you then, Matt," he says, and we go our separate ways

As I walk my way to the locker room, Dean catches up with me. While we walk, I finally make up the guts to ask

"Did I tell you my cousin just came out ass gay?" I ask I'm so fucking nervous I think I might fain

"Good for him, You should be there for him, there are a lot of stupid people out there who think being gay is wrong, and he might end up being a target for bullies. I just can't wrap my head around it tho, like why the actual fuck do you give a fuck? At the end of the day it isn't hurting anyone! I don't know bro it just gets on my fucking nerves!"

"Me too" I can't stop smiling.

After practice, Dean and I are playing video games,

"Hey bro, I have to tell you something."

"Okey......you good?"

"Yeah, I'm just a little nervous,"

"K, bro, you're freking me out. What happened?" he puts down the controller and puts his hand on my shoulder.

"Deep breaths, it's good whatever you are gonna say. I still love you, even if you are a murderer. I'll just help you hide the bodies" that gets a laugh out of me,

I take a deep breath. " I'm gay."

"Bro, you scared me. I thought you did something bad." He sounded relieved

"So you gay right? How did you come to that conclusion? Is there a special someone? " he asks, elbowing me on the side.

"Yes...." I answer shyly

Dean squeaks like a girl. "Who is it??"

"The new guy, Theo," I fidget with my fingers

"I totally ship it!"
