The school bell rang, and the ringing in me ear echoed. It took me a few seconds to realise that everyone else had already left the classroom eagerly. A mumbled voice was in the background, but I couldn't hear it properly. I was too focused and irritated by the echoed noise piercing in my ear.

"Angie? Are you all right my dear?"

I realised that the voice was my English teacher, Mrs Walker.

"Yes, I'm fine. I was just caught up in a daydream".

I lied.

"I hope my English class isn't that boring" gasped Mrs Walker.

"Oh, heavens no! English is one of my favourite classes,"

I lied again,

"I just was a bit tired today".

That much was true.

"Well I'm glad to here it. Why don't you head off now, I'm sure you don't want to be in school any longer than you have to" grinned Mrs Walker.

With that said, I scurried out of the classroom immediately.

As I ran down the hall way to my locker, I saw in the distance Ella impatiently waiting. I went to grab my netball gear when I was interrupted by Ella's moaning.

"Where have you been!?!?" screamed Ella.

"I had to stay behind with Mrs Walker for a few minutes".

Ella gave me a stern look.

"Did you get in trouble again?" she asked.

We looked at each other again and burst out laughing. Ella was my best friend. She knew everything about me and I knew everything about her. She knew it was highly unlikely for me to get into any sort of trouble. Ella liked to describe me as a 'goody-two-shoes' but I prefer the term 'a good student'.

"Come on, we better get going or we'll miss our semi final'" moaned Ella.

We sprinted outside frantically searching for Ella's step mum's car. We ran everywhere. From the back end of the school to the front gates. My head was pounding and I felt pretty hot, but I blame that for all the running we have been doing. Finally, the words I had been wishing for arrived.

"I SEE MY  STEP MUM!!!, COME ON, LETS GO!!" Ella shouted.

As we rushed towards the car as fast as we could, I suddenly heard a massive tear. We had passed a spiky tree and my school bag had ripped open. My books, my stationary and everything else had fallen out. I was certainly having an unlucky day. Ella moaned loudly on purpose out loud.

"Seriously!" she screamed.

As we shoved everything back into my broken school bag, I realised that my netball gear had been replaced by my school P.E gear. Oh no! I must've grabbed the wrong gear at my locker. Ella was set to race to the car when I shouted after her telling her the bad news.

"I've grabbed the wrong gear, I'll have to go back" I explained.

"WHAT?!? We're already late enough as it is! You're the most organised person I know! How could you, of all people, have brought the wrong gear!".

Ella shouted with pure rage in her voice.

"I don't need you to give me a lecture Ella! I made one mistake, OK!".

Ella sighed.

"OK! I'll go to my  step mum and tell her to wait while you go and get the RIGHT gear this time".

I nodded and dashed for the entrance to the school. I still don't understand how dumb I had been. My netball gear looked completely opposite to my school P.E gear. I was defiantly having a bad day.

As I approached my locker for the second time, my vision became very blurry. I went to enter my combination to my locker when I suddenly felt extremely dizzy. My locker numbers were jumbled in my eyes and everything seemed to be spinning. I tried to focus hard but everything was hazy. Next thing I know, I feel I shudder of pain as I hit the solid floor. I had fainted.
