Jessica was unusually calm that evening. After dinner, she couldn't pull away from Cassidy's friend, Freddie. Jess practically denied me that evening and spent most of her time, giggling on Freddie's lap as the English girl made her laugh, making silly faces, tickling her stomach and lifting her up and spinning her round. Normally, I'd be jealous that my daughter is warming up to another person more than my family.

But I'm actually glad.

Taking care of Jess was troublesome sometimes because she could spend fifteen minutes with my family (except my mom) before crying for me which was a disadvantage when I was tired. If Jess became this comfortable around a complete stranger then maybe Jess would be a bit more attached to my family than just me.

"Freddie, would you like a drink?" Arielle asked as she served people drinks, mostly fizzy, sodas.

"Oh, I don't drink cool drinks." Freddie said as she held Jess in her lap. "Do you have pure juice?" Arielle looked round in surprise but shook her head. "Don't worry, I'll just make myself tea." She said before putting Jess in her mobile and pulling her close to me. "Besides, Cass... let's go do the dishes."

"Fred... I love you but you're making me look bad." Cass said. "Can we wait a bit before doing the dishes?"

"Don't be lazy." Freddie pulled her up from her seat with an amused grin on her face before pushing her to the kitchen.

What is she?

Freddie Blackley was by far the strangest person I had ever met. Never had I met a person who actually enjoyed helping out in the kitchen, feeding children or taking care of them or even washing dishes (my parents are old school, they hate dishwashers). "There's nothing more confusing than Freddie." Christopher, Cass' boyfriend mused loudly. The adults were out on the gazebo in the backyard, drinking wine and chatting.
"I call it being a kiss up." I scoffed. There's no way someone is that kind hearted. It doesn't exist.

Christopher laughed at my assumption. "Freddie is many things... except a kiss up." He sighed. "That girl is only like that because she's trying her best to be positive and change."

"Change?" I questioned loudly. That girl seems... perfect. Her politeness had astounded me to no bounds, especially the way she ignored my father and then made him feel stupid at some point in time. She made me feel obsolete by taking care of my own daughter for an hour and even succeeding in feeding her when I was failing miserably.

Overall, she wasn't scared of me... or at least I don't think she was. I was basically cold and indifferent to her, glaring and scowling but she didn't seem to give a fuck or at least surpressed the need to do something else. Her personality agitated me for reasons that I couldn't even deduce but that didn't stop me from finding her sexy.

Being perfectly honest, she was very hot and attractive. She had this sexy exotic thing about her, with her Western Asian ethnic, her petite size and her curvy, busty body structure that was very... alluring. Her body alone could give guys boners and endless hallucinations based on sex even with the way she was dressed right now like some kind of modern nun. But her face was a huge turn off... not because she's ugly or anything.
