The noise of my alarm feel the room, the feeling of nervousness wash over me. Its's my first day of senior year.
"fuck," i whisper to myself as i get up from my bed. Picking up my phone to see if anyone texted me, the light was blinding me.
"raji boo" flashed my phone. I hesitated a bit before answering since i haven't heard from her since the beginning of summer break.
"hello?" i rasped out
"we broke up, tay" taraji said through her tears
"what happened?" i sighed. the happens at least once a month, i was beginning to be sick of it since she always goes back.
"she cheated again. Tay i can't take this"
"taraji you know i love you but this is an ongoing cycle. If you are gonna go back stop complaining cause you obviously don't get your feelings hurt enough by her" i said as i rubbed my eyes walking to the bathroom.
"this is the last time, tasia it really is"
"whatever, do you want a ride for school" i rolled my eyes as i turned on the shower
"yeah" i watched her get up and move her hair out her face showing her nike bra and her abs. Looking sooo good
"be ready by 7:15" i hung up and got in the shower, doing my routine making sure my scarf and bonnet didn't fall off cause i got my hair done the previous night.
After i was done i brushed my teeth and washed my face, waiting to put any product on my face cause i wanted to put on makeup.
I walked to my room, hearing the front door.
"hey mommy" i looked at her and seen tears in her eyes. what happened? "you ok? did you lose a patient"
"no, no. im pregnant" she said laced with sadness. "im sorry" she dropped down to her knees crying
"mommy, its okay but i have no clothes so can you get up?" i shook my head "you're grown. i love you ok?"
I helped her get up and wiped her tears then kissed her on the cheek
"i love you more tasia"
I smiled then walked to my room to get ready
After i was done with my makeup, and fixing my hair a bit i checked the time and it was 7:00 so i had to rush since i still had to pick up raji.
So i grabbed my cheer bag, something quick to eat and looked for my car keys.
"mommy do you know where my keys are?" i yelled and my mom walked downstairs
"its in the living room, have a good day. i love you"
"i love you too" i had everything i needed so i walked out the house and put my cheer bag and bookbag in the back seat
I got my phone out and called taraji
"hey, im on my way" i said as i pulled out the driveway
"okay nia keep playing on my phone dude"
"block her, im 2 minutes away" i hung up
when i got there i was sitting scrolling through my camera roll to see what i wanted to post.
