I was waiting on Kiari ass to take me to get my car as I put some lipgloss on my lips.

I had on a white crop top since it was still hot, my flared sweats and my hellkitty slippers.

He texted me saying he was outside so I walk out my house and to his car.

Opening the door I get in seeing he was on the phone with someone so I try to quietly connect my playlist to his car but then the song starts playing ridiculously loud making me make a yikes face.

Oops...

He gives me a weird look so I quickly try to turn the music down but I turned it the wrong way making the music go up even more.

He then hangs up the phone and turns the music down.

"Is you good?" He glances at me and pulls out the driveway.

"Very much so." I nodded.

"Alright." He slowly nods.

"Do you got somewhere to be once you get your car?"

"Uh I have a class at 12 sooo."

"Alright let's get food." He makes a turn.

"Food? Food for what? I want my damn car."

"You'll get your car after we get our food."

"Um no."

"I want ihop." He says ignoring me making me just slump back.

"Oh you don't want ihop?" He glances over at me.

I tilt my head over at him and give him a look. A look that says get me to my shit asap.

He just looks away from me and turns up the music.

I was sat across from Kiari as we're currently talking about basketball. He seemed surprised at how much I knew about basketball but when you have a ex basketball coach dad that taught my brother basketball his whole life and a almost nba basketball brother who's now a basketball coach then trust I would know a lot. Sometimes I would even play with them but I definitely wasn't the best or really good at all but aye.

Even now I'm surprised that my brother even decided to be a basketball couch because once he fractured his knee, he wanted nothing to do with basketball but once he turned his life around I guess basketball was still for him, even if he couldn't play professionally.

He smiled wide at me, his dimples showing and all as he looked at me. Something that always catches my attention when it comes to Kiari is his smile. He had some pretty straight teeth with dimples that made his smile addicting like a drug that just makes you want to tell a joke to him every other second just to see that smile of his. And he rarely ever smiled but I sure wish he did more.
