"I don't want to watch this." I put my head on Kiaris shoulder and pull the blanket up on me further.

We were in his living room watching some horror movie after we showered and stuff but I wasn't feeling it at the fuck all.

"You're always somewhere being scary." he glances over at me.

"No I just don't like this. to many jump scares." I grab the remote and turn it off and he looks at me in disbelief.

"You know what we could do then." he stands up.

"Yeah I could home. it's almost midnight."

"Wait no, you not going home. come on." he pulls me up and i raise my eyebrow as he walks me to the back.

he opens the door to the back of his house then turns a light on where the pool lights flicked on and the patio lights.

"Were swimming." He takes his shirt off leaving him in his shorts.

"You want me to get in the pool with you? at almost 12?" I look at him like he's crazy and he just jumps in there. Not to mention I just got out of the shower.

"Aint that what I said?" He says in a duh tone as he switches the setting of the pool probably to warmer.

"Im not getting in. I don't even have a bathing suit." I said.

"Skinny dip." he says and I look at him in disbelief as he had a straight face.

"Kiari." i fold my arms and he chuckles.

"I'm joking with you. just keep your under clothes on, its the same thing as a bathing suit." he shrugs.

"Mm fine. but don't look at me, look at the fence or something." I motion for him to turn.

I just didn't want to get stared at while literally undressing.

"Extra ass." he huffs turning.

I take my top and shorts off leaving me in my plain black bra and black underwear.

"Ok you good now." I tie my hair in a ponytail and he turns back around to face me with a small smile on his face.

"Come on." he holds his hand out for me as I walk down the pool stairs. I could feel his eyes staring at me.

I take his hand getting in the pool and it was warm.

"Is Isaiah here?"

"No." He said.

"Come on let's go to the deeper side." He takes my hand as we go to the deeper side.

"Did you know I was forced to learn to swim because I drowned once and my mother was scared ever since." He randomly says making me widen my eyes.

"What the- really?"

"Yeah. Kam had to save me then my mom put me in swimming classes and I just loved swimming ever since that's I put one in the back of my house." He said.

"It's getting colder now though. When are you going to put the pool topper on or whatever it's called."

"Tonight gone be my last night till spring and summer again. So maybe tomorrow." He says. It wasn't like cold, cold yet. More like in the afternoon it's warmer but once it hits october that's when it's really going to get cold and october is only in a few more days.

"Race me back over there." He says but before I could even comprehend he already swam away. My mouth dropped before I quickly tried to swim but by the time I got there he was already there.
