''Omgg, this is so cuteeee.'' i say as i drop the box and look at my new apartment in awe.
Today is my first day moving to this side of town where my university is at and my first day as a freshmen at Raven University.
Back to square fucking one as a freshman.
But I was happy that I did get accepted since it's a very good hbcu I've been wanting to go to ever since I was younger.
Instead of me being dorms i decided to just rent out an apartment close by campus with the help of my mom since shes a real estate agent. my college is close to my home town, only about an two or three drive from my parent's house so this apartment is also where i would be living until after college as well.
My apartment was very nice though. it was a two bedroom, three bathroom as one was a half bathroom. it was very cute and updated just how i wanted it.
"Ok, that's all the boxes." I hear my dad say as the last of the moving people placed my boxes down along with my dad who helped for i dont know why reason when they hired all them people to do so.
"Girl you have so many boxes for what." my mom huffs as she sits on the couch making me shrug i walk down the hall to find my room.
"Oh this is hella nice," I say as I eye the shower in my bedroom and all the different settings on it. You can make the water pressure higher, lower, different levels. yeah I'm about to have some real good showers alright...
"I like the way the bedrooms look." My 14 year old sister, Rihanna says and I agree because they were cute.
"I was thinking of my bedroom being like a darker pink and black since my last room was just pink," I say to her.
"Yeah cause you had way too much fucking pink in your last room." My sister scrunches her nose up making me laugh.
"What did I tell you about all that cussing Anna." I hear my dad say making us look at him to see him glaring at Rihanna.
"Oops sorry daddy." She covers her mouth trying not to laugh making me shake my head at her.
I had two siblings. I had an older brother named Reece, he's 26 and then I had my little sister Rihanna and she just turned 13 going into her 8th grade year.
I don't know what my parents had going on with all these R's in our names. they really thought they ate that shit up, not to mention my dads name is reid to??
"Alright well, we need to hit this road." My dad says hugging me and I hug him back.
"Bye Riani." My sister starts fake crying and wiping her eyes making me smack my lips at her.
"Girl bye." I push her head away.
"Definitely about to take your big ass room." She blows me a kiss making me flip her off and she flips me back off.
"Alright stop. Be nice." My dad says making me wave him off.
My furniture should be coming by next week but i did already have my bed here and my tv already mounted on my wall.
Honestly, my mom was right, I do have hella boxes but ill try to unpack everything before the school year starts. they gave everyone about a week in a half before our classes start to either explore outside of campus or even get ourselves ready so I'm about to take this time wisely.
But as much as I loved my parents, I was relieved to be moving away from them because sometimes I just had no privacy. like my dad he was cool and a little strict when it came to boys like ok cool thats what dads do, but my mom? Oh that lady would go threw my room, like it would be random days when I come home from school to see my room all cleaned up, perfume bottles not where I put them, and clothes neatly folded up in my drawers.
I love her but damn girl my messy room is not bothering you that much and really my room don't be dirty it just be messy from like clothes everywhere or my bed unmade. but overall i just didnt like my room being messed with.
I have also been doing YouTube for about a year now. I have around 90k subscribers and really I just record videos like vlogs, grwm, workout videos and promo videos and that's really fun and I make good money from that. __________________________________
