Heart Racer ~ (Yoonseok/Sope)

Chapter 4

Yoongi got back to his house and plopped down on his couch. The interaction with Hoseok ran through his head over and over like a broken record. Yoongi felt so many different emotions. He felt anger. Angered that Jin knew Hoseok would be at the race but yet failed to let him know before hand. Angered that Mingyu would be disrespectful enough to try to run Hoseok off the road. Angered by the fact that he didn't place at all in the race because of Mingyu.

But above all, Yoongi felt not good enough. He felt sad and broken. Hoseok found someone else. They broke up 9 months ago, but it still hurt so much. Yoongi couldn't understand how he was still head over heels for Hoseok and never goes a day without thinking about him, but meanwhile Hoseok can just forget him likes he's nothing.

Yoongi checked the time on his phone. 3 a.m. He decided to get up to shower. Once undressed, Yoongi looked at himself in the mirror. Normally, Yoongi doesn't mind how he looks. He worked out every now and then and ate a pretty balanced diet. But tonight was different.

In his mind, Yoongi kept thinking about Hoseok's... boyfriend? Fiancé? Husband? Yoongi wasn't really sure what they were. He thought about the man's muscular arms that protruded from the black t-shirt he wore. How his smile resembled that of a rabbit, tattoos on his arms and hands. He had everything Yoongi didn't. Yoongi was jealous again. This time not because of Hoseok being with someone other than him, but because he knew he could never compare to the man.

Yoongi stepped into the shower. For a while he just closed his eyes and let the hot water hit his chest. Hoseok doesn't love me. He turned around, letting the water hit his back. That's when Yoongi realized there was warm liquid streaming down his face.
