"What's going on here? And who is this girl, Shaurya?"

Siya saw a woman dressed in an expensive silk saree adorned with gold jewelry. The woman appeared to be around Shaurya's age. She walked over and sat on the sofa across from them.

"Who is this girl, and why is she here?" She asked Shaurya sharply.

Shaurya walked over to her and whispered something, visibly growing upset.

"Let's go now. I'll drop you off at home."

He said to Siya, but just then, his phone rang. He answered it.

"Siya, can you wait a little? I need to send an important file first, then I'll drop you off."

"No problem, Uncle," Siya replied.

He smiled at her and then turned to the woman.

"Don't bother her." He told Kimaya before heading to his study.

That woman smiled at Siya.

"Shaurya is so funny."

Siya smiled back.

"My name is Kimaya Rathore. I'm Shaurya's wife."

She introduced herself with a broad smile.

"I'm Arjun's wife. My name is Siya Mehra." Siya responded.

Kimaya's eyes widened in surprise.

Siya wasn't sure why she mentioned that, but it just slipped out.

"Oh! I'm just surprised. I never imagined Arjun would get married."

Siya smiled hesitantly. Though Kimaya was being polite, Siya felt uneasy around her.

Suddenly, Kimaya's expression changed, and she asked impatiently.

"Where are you from, Siya?"

Siya paused for a moment before answering,

"I'm from Mahabaleshwar. Before that, I used to live in pune with my father."

Kimaya's eyes widened even more. For a moment, she seemed shocked, but she quickly regained her composure and smiled.

"Oh, that's nice! Are you okay? I mean, is Arjun treating you well? If something's wrong, you can tell me, and I'll do my best to help you."

Siya smiled back.

"Yes, everything is fine between us. We're really happy together."

Siya wasn't sure why she said that. She didn't want to reveal the truth about her relationship with Kimaya. After all, she's Arjun's stepmother; she might not like him.

But when Kimaya heard Siya's answer, tears streamed down her face.

"I'm really happy to know that Arjun is finally happy. My son has suffered a lot."

A wave of guilt washed over Siya.

Kimaya wiped her tears and said, "I'm so glad that Arjun isn't alone anymore. But I also feel bad that he didn't even tell us about his marriage. Does he hate us that much?"

Siya was confused. It was clear from her words that Kimaya missed and loved him deeply. If that's true, why had Arjun never mentioned her?

"You know, Siya, Arjun used to love me a lot when he was a child. Whenever I came to visit, he used to play with me a lot." Kimaya said with a slight smile; she paused for a moment, then continued, "But after Niharika's suicide, everything changed."
