Son of the Mafia

P A R T F O U R

The rest of the day went by smoothly. I did not run into Adamo after the incident in the janitor’s closet, thank God.

I don’t really see what his problem is. He acts like someone who is always used to getting what they want. But not this time.

No way.

I was thinking about the homework that I needed to accomplish this weekend as I made my way to my locker at the end of the day. Just as I was a few feet away, I bumped into someone. Looking up I saw my best friend.

“Hey Rach.” I smiled and apologized for having my head in the clouds.

As I started to unlock my locker, she started rambling on about the latest gossip. Normally, this is where I tuned her out for a little until she stopped.

Yes, I know. It is not the best, best friend behavior, but to be honest I could care less about high school drama and gossip.

That was until I heard her mention something to do with both Adamo and I.

I looked over to her, half way into putting a binder in my backpack, “What did you say?” I asked her confused.

“That you and Adamo got together earlier this afternoon. I heard that you two were all over each other and just barely made it into the janitor’s closet. Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”

This is another reason that I do not pay attention to her gossip sessions in the afternoon. She believes everything she hears, no matter how stupid it sounded. “Rachel, you know me. Obviously that would not happen. Not even close.” I rolled my eyes before I finished grabbing my stuff and heading out towards the parking lot.

“Oh come on Ella. Obviously something had to happen between you two. Especially with that look he was giving you all throughout lunch. Definitely undressing you with his eyes.” She winked at me like it was something I should be proud of.

“Oh well. I’m not interested in him. He’s way too cocky.” I said stretching out the ‘way’ to prove my point.

“So, you wouldn’t mind if I went after him then?” Rachel asked hesitantly.

I laughed as I unlocked my car door and threw my bag into the back seat, “Of course I wouldn’t mid. Go for it girl.” This time it was me who have her a suggestive wink as I slid into the drivers seat of my black car.

Hopefully if Rachel went after Adamo it would distract him from me. I really did not want to get wrapped up in drama.

So, yea, this is super short, especially since I haven’t uploaded in like 3 months. And it really doesn’t feel like it’s been that long D: but I’m not exactly sure where this story is going yet, so I’ll be working on figuring that out before I upload next
