Chapter 5: MOM?!

Louis' P.O.V

"We are very sorry for the delays we were having plane 224 will be taking off in 30 minutes so board as soon as possible! Thank you, and enjoy you flight." The lady over the loud speaker announced.

"Finally." I said as I stretched from sitting in an uncomfortable chair all night with no sleep. I grabbed my carry on and went to the Starbucks, which was luckily right across from my gate.

"Hello, how my I help you today?" A young woman with long blonde hair asked.

"Uh... I'll just have a regular mocha frappé." I groggily said.

"No problem sir. Here is it. Have a nice flight." she said.

"Thanks. I will hopefully get some sleep." I replied as I walked away.

"Ticket." The man behind the counter at the gate said. I handed him my ticket and headed to first class. Seat b3..
"Yes a window seat." I thought to myself. Nobody else was there yet so either nobody was sitting next to me or they weren't there yet.

"Is this seat b4+b3?" A stunning young man asked my he looked about 16.

"Uh yea. I'm Louis Tomlinson." I introduced myself.

"Shawn. Shawn Mendes. And your THE Louis?!" He excitedly said.

"Yes I am but I can't talk very much because I NEED some sleep."

"Oh that's fine I can't talk much either I have to go over details for where I'm going in England."

"I can help when we land. I'm going to see me mum."

"Cool I'm going to see my aunt."

"Alright then it's plan we'll meet up after we get our bags form baggage claim."

"Ok get some sleep Louis Tomlinson."

"I will Shawn Mendes."

As soon as I was falling asleep My phone lit up. It read...

"Niall😘 would like to FaceTime." I declined the FaceTime and told him "that I was still on the plane and trying to get some sleep call him when I land." He replied with "okay love you."
"Love you too." I texted back. Then I dozed off.

*****Plane Landing*****

"Louis...." I felt someone shaking me as they were saying my name.

"Huh?" I said as I woke up rubbing my eyes. It was Shawn I almost completely forgot I was on the plane!

"I can't believe you slept through the plane landing!" Shawn said getting his carry on from the over head.

"Guess I was just that tired." I said as I grabbed my carry on from at my feet.

Once we got off the plane we met at baggage claim.

"Okay so I'll let you know when I can show you around...so here's my number." I told Shawn as I wrote down my number in a sticky note. After I gave him my number I called a cab. After about 20 minutes the cab came.

"Where to?" The cab driver asked.

"East side of town...I should be able to get home from there." I told him. I had forgotten how much I missed England as I rode in the cab.

"Alright that'll be $25." I gave the cab driver $30 and told him to keep the change. I walked about 5 blocks until I got to my childhood home....ah the memories.

"I'm home!" I yelled as I walked in the door. As soon as I walked in Lottie ran to me and hugged me and through her cries I could hear her say "Mums in the hospital already!" As soon as I heard Lottie say that I broke down into a million little pieces and dropped to my knees and hugged Lottie.

"Where's the other girls?!" I asked Lottie as I took her by the shoulders.

"They're with granny."

"Why did mum go to the hospital?"

"She started throwing up. And that's a sign of her cancer so she was rushed to the hospital."

"Okay, where's mum's keys?" She pointed to the keybox by the door. "Let's go." I said as I grabbed the keys.

Once we got in the car and left Lottie asked

"Where are we going?"

"To see mum."

*********At the Hospital**********

"Johannah Tomlinson." I said as I got to the front desk.

"Room 204." The nurse said as she pointed to the left.

As I got to the door of her room I wasn't prepared for what I was about to find out. I opened the door and ran to her.

"Mum I'm so sorry I can stay long I will cancel everything!!!!"

"Lou it's okay!"

"How could getting sicker be okay?!?"

"Lou I'm not getting sicker....Lou I'm."
