Iris didn't deserve it. She was just 14 and this...
This is too brutal, too damn disturbing.

Where is she right now? Should I ask Orion about the diaries? Maybe.

Today I am going to go to Sky Sips with Orion as a compensation date. There are about 5 branches of Sky Sip in the town now. I don't know which one Iris and her friend use to go to. So we're going to one nearest to my café

Reading about Iris's life is making me sad and mad even though it's none of my business. I don't know why but I feel like going back in time, holding her, comforting her and to  tell her that I'm here that it's gonna be alright.

"Boss!" Hana chimed. Her pink cheeks stretching into a wide grin.

Trouble.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"Orion's here"

"Okay. But, what's the big deal?" I said eyeing her grin.

Whenever Hana grins like that, either something good happens or something bad and it's always the extreme. So it's gonna be either very good or terribly bad.

She smiled like that twice before, she almost burned the café the first time and made strawberry flavored pancakes the other time which increased the sale by 5%.

I walked out of the kitchen with her and saw Orion sitting on a chair dressed casually in a white T-shirt and black cargos scrolling through his phone.

Theo, who had just finished packing a sandwich for an old lady, smiled at me and Hana as he saw us walk out.

"Theo what's wrong?" I asked in context to Hana's grin.

He glanced at Hana and replied, "Nothing, why?" without looking at me.

"So even you're not gonna tell me huh? Well let me warn you both, if you create any trouble while I'm gone, I swear I'll kill you both and add 'human pies' to our menu."

"Understood" both said in unison and saluted at me.

Orion who was now standing behind me laughed.

"I understand you fellas. I know Celine's dictatorship can get very brutal sometimes." He teased as he wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Shut up. Don't make my employees scared of me." I smacked his arm.

"Well, we already are." Theo said and Hana and Orion started to laugh.

"Yeah sure." I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways we're getting late." Orion said as he glanced at his watch.

"Hm. We'll be leaving then. And I'm telling you again. Do not create any trouble."

"Yes boss rest assured." Hana replied.

We bid them farewell and went to the car. "Let's go" he said opening the door of the passenger seat.

Every time he does this small small acts of affection my heart starts fluttering.

In the car, he told me about his day.

"And the girl's eyes were the same shade of brown as yours." He said in reference to the girl he took in his NGO recently.

I smiled. After he was done we settled into a comfortable silence.

This is the right time to ask about it.

"Oreo, do we know Tara Archer?" I don't even know I am I asking it. It's none of my business.
