WEDDING DAY-
Aarohi sat in front of the mirror, her hands trembling as she adjusted her wedding veil. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves.
Her mother, Sonal, entered the room, a warm smile on her face. "Aarohi, beta, you look stunning," she said, her eyes brimming with tears.
Aarohi turned, her eyes meeting her mother's. "Maa, I'm so nervous," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.
Sonal sat beside her, taking Aarohi's hands in hers. "You have nothing to be nervous about, beta. Lakshya is a wonderful boy. He'll take care of you."
Aarohi nodded, feeling a lump form in her throat. "I know, Maa. I just...I don't know if I'm ready for this."
Sonal's expression softened. "You are ready, Aarohi. You're strong and capable. And I'll always be here for you, no matter what."
Aarohi smiled, feeling a sense of comfort wash over her. "Thanks, Maa."
As, the sun shone brightly, Aarohi and Lakshya stood before the sacred fire, surrounded by their loved ones. The priest began the ceremony, his voice chanting ancient mantras.Aarohi and Lakshya stood facing each other, garlands in hand. The priest instructed, "Exchange the garlands as a symbol of your acceptance."
Aarohi's expression was serene, her eyes gentle. "I accept you, Lakshya, as my husband."
Lakshya's face was tense, his eyes avoiding Aarohi's. He mechanically placed the garland around her neck, his hands trembling slightly.
The priest guided them around the sacred fire, seven times. With each step, they promised to support each other through life's journey.
Aarohi's voice was soft, her words laced with a hint of emotion. "I promise to stand by your side through all joys and sorrows."
Lakshya's voice was barely audible, his words laced with reluctance. "I...I promise to stand by your side"
The priest handed Lakshya the vermilion powder. "Apply this sindoor to Aarohi's forehead, symbolizing your marital status."
Lakshya's hands trembled slightly as he applied the sindoor, his eyes avoiding Aarohi's. Aarohi's expression remained calm, her eyes downcast.
The priest handed Lakshya the sacred necklace. "Tie this mangalsutra around Aarohi's neck, symbolizing your union."
Lakshya's hands hesitated, his eyes darting around the room as if searching for an escape. Aarohi's eyes met his, her gaze calm and gentle. Lakshya finally tied the mangalsutra around her neck, his movements stiff and unwilling.
Aarohi's father stepped forward, his eyes brimming with tears. "I entrust my daughter to you, Lakshya. Protect and cherish her." (Kanyadaan)
Lakshya's voice was barely audible, his words laced with reluctance. "I...I promise to take care of her."
Aarohi's father placed her hand in Lakshya's, his voice trembling. "May you both be happy together."
Lakshya's hand felt limp, his fingers not intertwining with Aarohi's. Aarohi's eyes met her father's, a hint of sadness in them.
VIDAAYI SCENE-
Aarohi, dressed in her wedding attire, stood outside her parental home, her eyes brimming with tears. Lakshya stood beside her, his expression solemn.
