Jimin's eyes wander here and there, taking in the sight of the palace. He had never been palace after growing up. He always wanted to see what the palace looked like, and he can say it looks like a heaven. As a teenager who had faced only poverty, the palace is like some heaven, but Jimin would choose his mother and their little house over this palace if it was offered to him.
Lost in the beauty, Jimin walks out of the kitchen where his mother is cooking dishes. His eyes get mesmerized by the sculptures and portraits of the late kings. Lost in the eye-catching sight, Jimin didn't notice the prince in front of him.
"Ouch!"
Jimin rubs his forehead and looks up to see what he got hurt with. His eyes widened and smiles seeing the prince.
"Taemin."
Jimin smiles wide, seeing his friend from the teaching institute. Jinha works hard, so Jimin could be able to attend school and get knowledge like the royal omega's get. During a festival in school, Jimin met Taemin, and since then they've been friends, but they hardly interact because of their different status.
"Jimin. What are you doing? It's been months since I last saw you."
The second prince of the kingdom said, and Jimin smiled widely.
"Eomma brought me here because I wanted to see Prince Jungkook. Where is he?"
Jimin asked, and Taemin jaw clenched. He doesn't like his half-brother because Jungkook gets everything because he's the eldest and a purebred alpha with every good quality.
"He must be taking rest. Come on, I'll show you the palace since you're here for the first time."
Taemin said, as he has always liked the little boy in front of him. In school, Taemin always likes to bunk class to meet Jimin because the little boy never makes fun of his disability. From birth, Taemin had difficulty in walking. Beopheung tried every medical treatment for his son, but they didn't find any solution.
Beopheung knew, with Taemin's disability, they boy wouldn't survive out of the Silla and enemies could immediately attack on him, so that's why Taemin was sent to a local institution, but Yeonjun thought Beopheung is doing partiality between Jungkook and Taemin.
"But I came to see him, especially. Do you know what he looks like?"
Jimin asks his friend as he follows him from behind.
"He's not handsome and he's also rude, doesn't like people. I don't like him."
Taemin said, and Jimin frowned his eyebrows. His eomma had told him whole opposite things about Prince Jungkook.
"You must don't know Prince Jungkook properly. Eomma says he’s very kind, and he always helped people. Eomma told me, because of Prince Jungkook, she got a job in this palace."
Jimin said, remembering how his mother was telling him how she got the job of cooking at the palace. Back then, he was only three years old, and his mother was out looking for a job, and Prince Jungkook was the one who offered his mother to work in the castle.
"Why would I lie, Jimin? I know him better."
Taemin said, not liking his friend taking his half brother side.
"I don't know. Maybe you met the wrong person because you were also a toddler when Prince Jungkook went for higher studies. Hmm, that must be the reason."
Jimin said and walks away from fuming Taemin. Jimin doesn't want to hear anything negative about the kind prince.
