As i wait on the floor with Sky Mr. Jenkins said he will be back leaving me completely alone with a now unconscious girl who is still sweating and shaking profusely and i'm scared out of my mind, now you wouldn't think a 6'4, 190 pounds would be scared but i'm about to piss myself, but my thoughts got erupted by the sound of sirens and ryker pushing people out of the way for the paramedics to come through with the gurney and loaded her on it in an instant
i tried coming with them but as soon as they asked about my relations to sky i said friends, and they nodded but the whole ride there was nerve racking
seeing the most beautiful girl lying unconscious in the back of an ambulance along with whooshing by cars at 80km an hour is terrifying
it wasn't long until we arrived at the hospital, as soon as i got out to follow them they told me to stop, and wait in the waiting room.. so i grumbled annoyed and walked to the room, as i sat down i couldn't help not googling a glucose pen, and with barely any deep diving on research i found out she was diabetic
i'm new to med school i don't know that much yet, the term just started, but i stated researching foods she can eat, the highs and the lows things like that but according to google she was having a low, but apparently it takes a while for the low to start showing those types of symptoms
and then it clicked.. this morning i knocked her over and the beeping, it was her dexcom thing going off, and the weird giggle she did in class was also apparently her symptom a random outburst of energy, everything starts to make sense now.
i started learning everything i could about diabetes but i wish i knew which kind of diabetes she has because apparently there are different types, both completely different from each other
god i hope my princess is okay.
