-Enid cried as she texted her mother they aren't meeting anymore since they've broken up only to be answered with a laughing emoji from her mom.
Enid wiped her tears as she finally crossed the way into Jericho, she walked into the schools most popular spot, the weathervane to get a cappuccino.
Enid sat in an empty booth with a cappuccino on the side of the table as she did her homework, not noticing the sun is already setting.
"Hey." One of the waiters sat in Enid's booth.
Enid frowned before she looked at the man then his name tag. "Hi Michael?" She took notice of his short curly dark brunette hair and his chocolate brown eyes looking straight at her.
"You do realise the sun has set and we close in 10 minutes." Micheal chuckled seeing the sudden realisation on Enid's face.
"Oh shit I should go I'm so sorry-" Enid packed her homework back in her bag before being stopped by Micheal.
"It's okay, I could give you a free ride to nevermore if you want?" Micheal offered.
"Are you sure? I don't wanna bother-" Enid replied before being cut off.
"Don't be silly, besides my coworker will close up the cafe so there's no need to worry." Micheal reassured, his voice was persuasive but soft.
"Thank you, Micheal." Enid chuckled as she wrapped her bag around her back. "I'm Enid, sorry for not telling you sooner."
Micheal laughed as he went back to the counter and shoved the apron in the cupboard. "Let's go?" He ringed his car keys.
Enid nodded as they went into his Mercedes. "You're not gonna kidnap me right?"
"No, my dad is a police officer so why would I do that?" Micheal raised an eyebrow as he started the car.
"Call it paranoia?" Enid responded as they now left the main road into Jericho.
"No need to worry." Micheal reassured with a smile that Enid returned. "So, Enid are you good at school?"
"I'm considered a nerd by most, so yeah." Enid playfully rolled her eyes.
"No way, me too." Micheal said happily. "Everyone calls me a nerd cause I get 100% on every exam."
"You are a proper nerd." Enid teased, knowing she also gets straight A+'s every exam.
"Oh really? What do you get princess?" Micheal smirked at Enid.
Enid widened her eyes at the sudden nickname. "Oh!" She awkwardly smiled. "I get straight A's, unwillingly."
"You can't be calling me a nerd when you're one yourself." Micheal remarked with a giggle.
Enid rolled her eyes as they drove into the nevermore gates. "Here's fine." She pointed.
"Alright, bye Enid." Micheal smiled as Enid opened the car door.
"Thanks for the ride, Micheal." Enid waved after she climbed out the car.
As soon as Micheal backed his car away Enid headed over to her dorm room to see Wednesday leaning outside the blonde's door.
